Mrs. Burton's Tea House

This is the cutest little teahouse right in the heart of Old Town, with an old fashioned decor. The prices were quite expensive, but the atmosphere was amazing.

I have not been able to find any tea places in San Diego until now. This tea house was so much fun! We dressed up and did not feel out of place at all. The teas were very good and they had a huge selection. The little tea cakes were al so delicious. Overall it was a nice meal with an awesome dining experience.

I came here with my mother and soon-to-be mother inlaw. We had a fun "girls" tea with finger sandwiches and desserts. Picking out a fancy/floppy hat the wear, along with the boa made it that much better. The owner makes you feel very special. I still laugh when I see the photo from that day. Too funny!

This Victorian house rocks with laughter when you walk in and don a feather boa and fancy Victorian cap. The owner takes photos and gives them to you of your party in your fancy wear. There are delicious scones and sandwiches, not to mention all the tea you can drink. Make reservations.
