I went in tonight to get a take out. The waiter was incredibly rude and barked at me when I asked where the menu was. I just turned around and walked out. Never again will I set foot in this restaurant. \r

My wife and I are Thai lovers, eating Thai locally where we can find it and in other cities when we travel. This place is great and has become a frequent stop. We never leave dissatisfied or disappointed. Food is always flavorful, sauces are fantastic, prepaerd to the exact "hottness" you like. Service is always good, ambiance' is casual. The Bloomfield location is always full on the wekends, so call ahead. Their new location in Hartford (Tamarind Grill) is more "upscale". Way, way better than "Lemon Grass Thai" in West Hartford, no comparison.

Thai Palace is a small place with a nice atmosphere. I've never seen much advertising for it...I only know about it from a friend that works in Bloomfield. I wasn't sure what to expect, since its so out of the way, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The food was great quality for the price and the staff was wonderful. They have an extensive menu to choose from of both food and drinks. I would recommend them to anyone who likes Thai food.
