Mosaic On A Stick

Mosaic on a Stick is run by a mosaic artist and it's obvious, everywhere you look you can find different beautiful works of mosaic art done by local artists, a good selection of mosaic surfaces, tile and interesting odds and ends. If there is something that you are looking for that you can't find, they are often willing to either order it for you or tell you where it can be found. The layout of the store is pretty and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. I've gone there many times needing help figuring out a technique and someone has always been more than happy to take me back to the work area in the back of the store and show me how something is done. Mosaic on a Stick also offers classes and daily or monthly workroom passes ($10 a day, $30 for a month) where you can use tools and adhesives provided by the store and have a welcoming place to either learn the basics or to work with a helpful community of peers. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone interested in making mosaics or buying them.
