DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Pay the extra $$$ and use Super Shuttle!!
Hello. We waited for over 1hr 30m for a shuttle. They left my family at the airport - including my 90 year old grandma, 86 year old grandpa, my 15 daughter that had a bad cold... we reserved a private van more than a week ago.

I sat on hold for more then hour last night trying to get your RUDE customer service lady to help me - she was VERY RUDE. The person you had the airport kept saying "I do nothing." The lady on the phone is suppose to send a shuttle for you. As a matter fact the guy at their curb kept laughing at how long we had been waiting. Then a man came on the phone finally at 11:20 and said the shuttle would be there in 10m - it did not show up.

I will be issuing a complaint to the authorities.

I have been sitting on hold this morning for more then 30m trying to speak to someone.

It cost me $215 to get a taxi van to bring us home at 12:15am last night.

This the first time I decided to shuttle from LAX and it's been one of the worst services I've ever experienced! I waited over 1.5 HOURS amidst the suffocating fumes of all the airport traffic for my RESERVED shuttle. Even though i asked the primetime representative for updates on my shuttle, he ignored me or said he didnt have any idea. The prime time representative finally gave up after the hour+half mark (around midnight) and handed me over to Super Shuttle and left for the night--so unreliable that even the rep gave up trying!! I was so fed up and exhausted that I just took a cab home. HIGHLY unreliable!! I don't know where those random high marks came from, but anyone with half a brain will hopefully heed to the warnings of many pissed off customers (such as myself) and stay the hell away from this sh!t shuttle service! Trust me, just pay the extra few bucks to go with a more reliable service or a cab...

Prime Time may be the MOST DISHONEST company in the airport shuttle business!

On December 17, we made on-line pre-paid reservations for two passengers to bring us home from Long Beach after a December 30 flight from Boston. Unfortunately, that night Long Beach was fogged in, and our flight was diverted to Burbank. As soon as we landed, I called Prime Time to tell them that we would be late, but we would be there for our ride home as soon as the bus (chartered by Jet Blue) arrived in Long Beach. The (very disinterested) Prime Time dispatcher told me that the driver would not wait for us or the other shared-ride passengers on his van, that they would provide no other driver, and that we would be stranded in Long Beach (40 miles from our house) with no way to get home. Of course I was disappointed, and asked for a refund of the money I had already paid for this transportation. The agent, by now quite rude, told me that I would have to take up the matter with Customer Service during normal weekday business hours.

As soon as possible, I called Prime Time Customer Service, to
1. complain that they had abandoned me at the airport even though
I had given them prompt notice of my arrival delay;
2. ask for a simple apology; and
3. request a refund of the service, for which I had paid,
that they did not deliver.

Instead what I got was another arrogant, unsympathetic agent who told me that there was no way I would get a refund, that I had not given them sufficient advance notice of my delay (a little hard to do from an airplane circling a closed airport while waiting to be diverted!), and that my money now belonged to Prime Time, however ill-gotten. I was referred to some apparent small print in their on-line reservation system (not included in the printed Reservation Confirmation) that apparently allows them to steal money from their customers!

Needless to say, I believe that this is dishonest, unethical, and probably illegal. Prime Time should be punished for this behavior, and WE WILL CERTAINLY NEVER AGAIN USE THEIR SERVICES.

One wonders who at Prime Time gets to keep my money, since the driver went home without any passengers to transport. Does the company share the illicit gains with the driver, who was too impatient to wait for his five passengers, or does it all go into the corporate trough?

Once a manager was made aware of the situation and the extreme circumstances a refund and apologize was quickly provided.

I used it from LAX to Seal Beach on June 14 2011. The shuttle was 40 mins late than originally promised. The guy at the airport pickup location wouldn't tell me for how long I have to wait. For 40 mins he kept saying will be here any minute now. When finally came took us (me and my husband) picked up 1 more person from another terminal so we were 6 people in the shuttle total. Then a lady called over the pager and asked the driver to go back to the airport to pick up 2 more people. She couldn't care less that 6 very tired people can't wait to go home. So the driver went back for another round. The shuttle that was promised for 7:50 left the airport at 9:10. As it serves the whole area from South LA through Orange County had to drop off people in Carson, Long Beach (Queen Mary) and then going south Seal Beach, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine. We got home at 10:40 instead of 9:20 as originally promised on the reservation. I hope I won't have to use their service ever again.

I took the shuttle from LAX to downtown today. It was really easy. The driver was good because he knew what streets to take to get there fast. He was familiar with downtown so didn't have any issues getting to my address or knowing where he could pull over to let me off. I thought it was rEally cheap.

One of my neighbors drives a Prime Time Shuttle. I was thinking about using them but never did. Recently he put a door hanger on my door that included a discount, so I made a reservation. My neighbor wasn't my driver, which I was kind of glad because I felt awkward about that. But the person that did pick me up was helpful and friendly. He was on time and I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. All in all, it was a good experience.

I have used PrimeTime Shuttle a few times a year since the 1990's. Always had good experiences. Sometimes the ride is a little longer as you are "sharing" with others, but it is way worth it to me not to have to figure out parking at LAX or trouble my husband to take me.

If you're worried about money issues make your reservation online or by calling and then prepay. You can even pre-pay the tip. I've always done that and never had issues with drivers.

I made my reservation online from my house to LAX and received great service at a good price too. Shared ride is the best way to get to the airport if you are a penny pincher like me. I have used other services and there is no comparison, I will definitely use this company again.

I used Prime Time to go to the LAX airport and back. The ride there was early in the morning and there weren't too many passengers and all was well. But the ride back from the airport was in the afternoon, and this driver packed the van so that there was not one seat left. Also, when I gave him my credit card he asked if I had any cash because he wouldn't get any money that day with credit card transactions. He had to grudgingly take my card. I think I will try a different shuttle next time.

PROS: Decent transport to the airport
CONS: Some drivers want cash and won't take credit cards, crowded

Hey I.B. all drivers are required to take credit cards. If you or anyone ever comes across one that tries to tell you otherwise please report their van number and your reservation to us as soon as possible. Thanks,
