Julia Hobbs and her staff quite simply saved my voice and my career. As the daughter of jazz singer Mel Torm and as a singer and busy voice-over actress myself, I was more than concerned and depressed when my vocal chords showed cysts on

Wonderful, caring staff who truly care about meeting your childs best potential. My son started at age 3- little vocabulary, echolallia, and quite frustrated. His therapist, Megan, was calm and understanding making him feel more and more comfortable about coming to class. She would answer any questions I had and would give me exercises to take home to work with him. He is now entering kindergarten as a confident student, eager to learn and make friends. I know all of this was possible because of the help of Megan and Julia Hobbs.

We have been taking our son for speech therapy at Julia Hobb's office and have nothing but rave reviews for Julia and her staff. I have talked with other parents in the waiting room and they, too, are thrilled with the level of service they receive. If you can get off the waiting list you are lucky!!!

Pros: Extremely professional and dedicated staff

They charge a lot. very commercial. They would always tell you that your child needs more therapy, so they can bill you contimously. Julia Hobbs seldom visits the therapy sessions herself. therapists are young, fresh college graduates with a lot of attitude!

Pros: they have an office

Cons: expensive and horrible service

My daughter had delayed speech development when she was in preschool. The staff at Julia Hobbs evaluated her, and worked with her in her deficient areas. We were also given exercises to practice at home.

The staff quickly developed a rapport with my daughter, and played "games" with her to develop her speech. My daughter's progress was evident after a few sessions.

We also tried speech therapy with a public school, and they were very poor. I don't think there was any progress with the school therapy, and my daughter hated it.

The therapy was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
