I had purchased a Groupon for Bushi-Tei. I called to make reservations and was told he'd try to squeeze us in, I don't know what that was all about, when we got there there were 2 people in the restaurant, 1/2 way through our meal 2 more

We had a great experience here - nice decor, professional staff, and the food was exceptionally good.

One of us had the 5-course tasting menu and the other had the 2-course pre-fixe menu - in total we tried 7 different dishes. I liked them all, with the artic char, irish salmon, and beef cheek being my favorites. The yuzu sorbet that they served between our courses was EXCELLENT - very refreshing and perfect to cleanse our pallets.

We also got to chat with Tak, the owner of the restaurant. He is an older Japanese man who takes very good care of his customers. Overall, we had a great dining experience and will return in the future.

TIP: We got certificates from restaurant.com, so it was a pretty good deal.

If you are a large portion diner, this is not the place for you. The 4 of us were full with 3 courses/person. The quail appetizer is one of the chef's signature dish, came in a metal dish with enoki mushrooms on the bottom and quail on

Bushi-tei offered beautifully displayed, miniature portioned and mediocre food in gigantic, heavy white plates. Interior was nothing to remember, and nice thing about the bathroom is the Japanese toilet that's probably old news to most

Totally speechless as to how disappointing my dining experience was at bushi tei. At the strong recommendation of our server, we opted to try the omakase menu. It provided a lot of promise, which was easily broken as each dish came

We went to Bushi-tei and were seating next to rowdy patrons (2 middle aged couples) who proceeded to throw drinks at each other (wife to husband), swear loudly (husband), and harrass diners at other tables (husband). Management did nothing

We went to Bushi-tei with my wife for our anniversary. The french server described the "omakase"(5 courses dinner) as something really exceptionnal. We started to be disappointed when the first couse arrived ( very tiny portion, too salty)
