The security guards think they have a license to harass people. They antagonized me while walking to my car from cheese cake factory.
I don't like it when anybody drives up on me real fast and asks me in an accusatory tone where am I going, it's none of there business.
If they have to ask they should be polite. I told them I don't like the way they asked me, two guys jumped out of the car and told me at one point they could,"beat my ass and it would be their word against mine." Great job galleria Nazi security!

It has gotten a lot better and expanded. Has a lot of good fashion stores now such as cotton which is one of my favorites. It has a Nordstrom which is hard to find in the Inland Empire so thats really helpful. I usually find what I need when I pay a visit to the this mall. Still I would rather shop at a L.A mall but thats not very close so this mall will do.

Several weeks ago I called the mall to ask if they permitted scavenger hunts and was told that they do. I took them at their word. So we went there and I sent two groups of four girls and one group of three girls --- all aged 11 and 12, except for my 9-year-old --- around the mall for an hour with $25 on a scavenger hunt. The group of three --- which coincidentally? consisted of an African-American girl and a girl whose parents come from India, along with my 9-year-old --- were stopped by a security guard who asked them what they were doing and when they said they were on a scavenger hunt insisted that they needed to be with their parents. The girls tried to contact me on my phone (I'm an idiot and the battery wasn't charged) and were escorted to the food court where we were planning to meet at the end, before he finally let them go, after being told by another employee that it was permitted and after a stiff lecture about running (they weren't). I called the Galleria to complain about this because I didn't want any future 9-year-olds harassed by this security guard --- I wanted to make sure they talked to him about how he had acted in an overly aggressive, bullying fashion to three people who were minding their own business shopping at the mall. Instead what I got was accusations, as management insisted that scavenger hunts aren't in fact allowed. Although they also admitted that many times they made exceptions. And also admitted that there is no lower age limit to kids shopping in the mall, although obviously if they found a 5-year-old wandering on her own they would look for her minder. One of the other groups did get warned several times to slow down (they were running). But instead of simply telling this group to slow down, the guard approached them and began questioning them. They weren't wearing signs saying they were on a scavenger hunt. Why was he harassing them? In any case, I ended up with the general manager, who said the next day he'd talked to the security guard and was satisfied the guard had acted properly. Right. So I just thought I'd warn people that this mall is apparently okay with guards harassing your kids when all they're doing is shopping.

I have been going to this mall for the past few years. I noticed that they have made a few changes and now it is a really nice mall. I ate at the Yard House a few weeks ago and I received really good service. I would definitly go back again.

The Galleria at Tyler finally has a great, state-of-the-art movie theater, and they also opened a Yard House and Elephant Bar. It's was a great addition!

The Galleria Tyler Mall, located in Riverside, California off the 91 fwy. at the Tyler exit, is one of the best shopping malls around. Although Victoria Gardens, located in Ontario, California, has slowly been taking customers away from Tyler since its grand opening nearly two years ago, the Tyler Galleria is still the place to shop in Riverside. With its numerous big department stores (Macy's, Nordstrom, JC Penny) and countless other smaller stores, it is easy to see that this is where it's at. From athletic clothing to formal wear, to jewelry and candy, to swords and a large food court, you'll find it all at the Tyler Galleria.

PROS: Many, many stores
CONS: Usually very crowded

This mall is similar to brea mall, but not as upscale as brea. Ex out the fountains and beautiful designs on the floors, tyler is the baby of brea mall. Tyler mall is considered as the best mall in the riverside area. It has a big eatery place that makes it convient for hungry shoppers. Overall this mall is a good place to be when your in the riverside/corona area.

I have been to this mall a couple of times. It is extremely busy. The mall itself is very nice. Parking can be a hassle due to its busy-ness. One problem I found is that there are not very many bathrooms in this mall. I was on the 1st floor at one end and the nearest bathroom was upstairs in the middle of the floor. The bathroom was in need of a cleaning. There are many different stores here. If I am willing to battle the crowds, I would go here again.
