The Gospel Brunch is the best part of the Sunday experience at the House of Blues. The food is soooooooooooo good, and the simultaneous live entertainment makes the moment even more uplifting and memorable. I definitely would go back on

Not only does this place have a great name, a great reputation, and a great location, but the gospel brunch was up to standard. It was fairly expensive, but definitely worth the show! I went there w/ my whole family and we had a blast.

Just because a venue has the word "Blues" in it's name doesn't make it a Blues Bar. This place is way too sanitized and offers too wide range of entertainment to be call such. Give me either gritty joint on North Halsted, B.L.U.E.S. or

The restaurant was good but somewhat overpriced for our dinner. In our group of 8 we had good service and a nice time but downstairs didn't get a really good band. We'll be back, don't ever give up on a blues venue.

In spite of the name, this venue rarely books blues acts. It is mostly rap, country, or death metal acts that play at this woefully expensive, sterile River North abomination.

THE HOUSE OF BLUES RATES TOPS IN MY BOOK. EVERY CONCERT THAT I HAVE BEEN TO HAS BEEN GREAT. IT'S A SMALL PLACE BUT THE SHOWS ARE HOT LIKE THEY ARE IN A LARGE CONCERT HALL. THE DRINKS ARE GOOD, ESPECIALLY THE VOODOO LEMONADES! I SUGGEST

The stage is so close that you see the sweat of the performers. My only bit of advice is to get therre early so you can grab a seat or table. Standing for the entire show can wear out your feet. But, the stage is so close that it's all
