This was the first time at this restaurant. The ambience was nice. Unfortunately the food was not. I ordered the Halibut dish, it smelled fishy and the bones were not removed, it was tasteless with the exception of the abundance of pepper on it. The risotto that came with it was discusting, it was not done and completely tasteless. My daughter ordered the spaghetti, it was completely overdone and gummy. The waiter came to the table to take our order and give us the check...needless to say, I went without any water the entire meal. I probably don't need to say that I would never go back

Went for the 1st time a few weeks ago. It was very good as a neighborhood restaurant. I have traveled in Italy many times. Some of the other reviews are a bit exaggerated. At the same time, I intend to go often. The food is quite good, the wine selection is quite good for this kind of restaurant, and the service is very attentive. This is the neighborhood restaurant we have wanted for years - RB/Poway. We are really glad we tried it and will definitely return.

Have eaten at Cin Cin more than adozen times, and it just keeps geting better. The serveice is good, nothing out of the ordinary, but the food is great !

The "Chef's Whim" is always something new and different, amazing taste combos, great rissotto alwasy creamy and fresh tasting.

Have reccomended this place to several people who have all had great expereinces. Is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in North County

My husband and I went to this restaurant on one of our first nights out after moving to San Diego. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice. But, the service was not anything great. At the end of the night, we had lost track of the time and they wanted to close. Rather than coming up to us and letting us know that they were trying to close, they just started turning off the lights. I felt that it was very unprofessional and rude. We will not go back.

While any kind of Italian is great, wether in a pizza parlor or in a fancy restaurant, I must say that this high class Italian tastes pretty good. They make every dish look like it came out of the president's kitchen. Their pasta with shrimp and tomato sauce is amazing! They even have a three course dinner meal.

My husband and I had dinner there for the first time. Ambience was nice, mood was quaint. For dinner I had linguine with clam sauce which was just o.k. I wouldn't recommend it. This has always been my favorite dish ,but this time I would only give it two stars. The waiter was awful. He came to our able to order and give us the check. Even that he messed up on. He misplaced my credit card. Hopefully I didn't end up paying for someone else's meal. Probably would not go back.

In an unassuming strip mall in Poway there is a noteworthy dining experience awaiting you. I have eaten her e many times and have always had great meals. The pasta is quite good and unusual. The lasagna is unusual and incredible! I highly recommend Cin Cin and have sampled most of the menu. I have eaten here several nights in a row when I was visiting in the area, and it was different each night. You may need to wait on the weekends, but it is well worth the wait.

Last night I had the best dinner at Cin Cin. The ambiance was very lively and positive. At first I thought I went to the wrong restaurant, but realized it was the one I've been going to the past 5 years. Lighting was perfect and you can definately hear Italian music playing. The tenors, Luigi and Tony ( I think) were very welcoming and circulated to the tables singing to the guests. They ask if anyone else wants to sing, but of course I don't because I can't. A charming little girl sang "That's Amore." The staff were handsome ( note: Ladies if you are reading this, you should definately go. These guys are fine), comical, and would check how on how my family and I were doing. The bread was perfect, just the way I like it: You have soft soft bread and crispy bread. The food was excellent and I enjoyed the spicyness in the San Francisco Pier 39 Cioppino. I even enjoyed the Gnocchi and the Ravioli. The owner/chef is really nice and came to our table to ask how we were doing. It surprised me since most restaurants I have been to don't ask if I enjoyed my meal. I wish I was able to leave some room in my stomach because the desserts, especially the cannoli, were visually appealing. In addition, my favorite place was the bathroom. I know that is weird, but it was really nice and Mediterranean-looking.

I definately recommend this place. Go for a date, friendly dinner, or even dinner with family. Go its awesome. The prices are affordable and worth the food. Bon Appetit.

We had a BOGO coupon for lunch. THANK GOODNESS.

I did look at the menu online, figured the lunch prices would be cheaper than dinner.

So, not much. as a matter of fact, they are exactly the same.

Everything is ala carte- cheapest salad is 8 bucks

My plate of Margarita Pasta? 13 bucks.

The iced tea? Instant. BLECH.

So we both get pasta, and iced tea. I said to my husband---I wonder when they serve the bread?

Hear the couple at the next table ask!

"Oh sorry, we don't serve bread at lunch."

Ooook

We get served. Would you like some Parmesan cheese?

Why yes please. So our (very nice and attentive) waiter comes out with a teensy bowl of shredded Parmesan and a teaspoon.

He scoops up a scant teaspoon, sprinkles it on my pasta and hesitates ---would you like some more?

I sheepishly say "yes please" and he sprinkles a wee bit more.

Anyway. The pros: Nice atmosphere. Lovely decorations The waiter was darling, the service was quick and excellent. My food was good -though mine was a bit too cool. My husband raved about his Bolognese.

The cons:

$$$$

Instant iced tea

No bread? :(

Leave the darn teensy bowl of Parmesan please!!

I've lived in SD for 9 years, and this is THE BEST Italian Restaurant in San Diego County, hands down. The food is out of this world and the atmosphere is fantastic. I have never been disappointed with any menu item I've ordered.

I can't say enough about the staff, an awesome group! Very attentive to the needs of the customer, and their personalities keep me coming back! Jessie the hostess greets you with a warm beautiful smile and makes you feel welcome. The waiters, waitresses and bartenders make the experience even more enjoyable with their knowledge and sense of humor.

If you don't give this restaurant a try, you're missing out on a fabulous experience.

I went there last night for my birthday and was so surprised! The ambiance was right on. I felt like I was in Little Italy or better. Yet I was next to a Target! The Chief come out when I had a question about the food and was a delight. Jessica who is the floor manager was a perfect hostess. The waiters couldn't have been nicer. The menu is a diverse one and we all have such a perfect time. Organic meals with the perfect seasonings. We all tasted each others meals and it was all perfectly proportioned and tasty too. I think I have found the perfect Cannoli and I have not found one since NY. I did see someone ordering the Tiramisu and in San Diego! I found a jewel in North County. I never thought this possible..Love it!

This has to be the best Italian I've had since I moved to southern Ca.It reminds me of the places in Napa valley. The pizza is like what you get in Rome!! Very reasonable, service a bit slow... probably because it was so busy.
