This place is a fun environment and the food quality is great. The service is amazing, they are very attentive. It is family friendly or appropriate for a friend dinner or intimate dinner. The food is great - give any of it a try and you will like it!

I wanted to post a personal review of my experience(s) at a newer Japanese/Sushi restaurant in Livermore called 'Yutaka Sushi' - mainly because every time I've been there, it's empty and I'd like to see more people patronize it.

I am a real/regular citizen of Livermore who resides in the 'Springtown' area. I have visited Yutaka about 7x since they opened earlier this year (?) and have sincerely had an GREAT experience every time.

They have a great lunch menu with EXCELLENT prices - soup, salad, entree, and rice starting at $5.95. For $1.00 more, you can add 3 pieces of select sushi. A lunch for two with drinks, not including tip, can run @ $15.00 - cheaper than if you had lunch at McDonald's.

Please .. if you enjoy Japanese cuisine and live in the vicinity of Livermore, give them a try. I'm absolutely certain you'll enjoy it.

- Tasty, fresh, authentic food (btw, I'm half-Japanese)
