Boy, this place sucked out loud. My husband ordered the cobb salad. Yech. It was really a chopped salad with all the ingredients of a cobb salad in piles. It included cold sliced potato?!?! When my husband got home he broke out in

I was so excited to see that this restaurant was on the Midtown Restaurant Week. I had always wanted to try it. I should have kept wanting to try it. This was some of the worse food I ever tasted. First of all they served you kids size

I dined here while in Atlanta and the lobster stuffed with cajun stuffing (which was recommended by our server and not on the menu) was prepared to perfection. The restaurant is elegant and the server was great. The cost for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and drinks was just under $200. Pricey but definately worth it

Pros: excellent food, great service, elegant
Cons: expensive
I go here on average once a month. Without a doubt the best seafood in Atlanta. Far exceeds Atlanta Fish Market in Buckhead. The seafood is fresh and flown in daily. Large selection of fish, crab and lobster dishes. The steak selections are good as well, but you should go here for the seafood. It's a chain, but does not have a chain feel.
The wait staff is extremely helpful with the daily line up. The menu changes daily depending on the availability of fresh seafood. They will do just about any preparation you want and bend over backwards to make sure you are happy.
The side dishes are large and should be shared. Wine selections are extensive and they pour generous servings.
The atmosphere is elegant but I have been there in nice jeans and a nice shirt and felt comfortable. It?s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Great food, service and parking
Cons: Not very romantic
My husband & I love the Oceanarie. The food is fantastic & so is the service. We have had great experiences each time we've been. The fish can be prepared several different ways to fit your own tasting. The portions of the sides are enough to share so you can get several different things.

I Love seafood and it is tough to find really good seafood! Oceanaire is simply the best in the city. Everything is flown in fresh, the oyster selection is incredible and their towering appetizer is worth the money! Great place to dine, with a relaxed, yet sophisticated atmosphere!

Food was good but I sure don't like being pushed into more expensive wine and waiting till we are about finished with a bottle before bringing out the course that wine is to be served with and then reccomending another bottle for that course. This happened more than once and we brought it to the attention of the manager. Free deserts whoo hoo because that makes up for the extra $$$$ on wine. Not.
There are much better places in Atlanta to spend your money.

Excellent high end restaurant. The food is fantastic - love the grits! The service was impeccable. The adult beverages were, well, strong. Good for some, not for us ladies, we like our sweet and easy. Highly recommend it for a night out with the beau.

I loved my Oceanaire experience! I just was at Oceanaire this past weekend , there were three copules altogether, our husband's surprised us by taking us there. From start to finish the service was top notch and everyone was very helpful. We made reservations which is best if you don't want to spend a long time waiting. I love seafood and this place really impressed me with the variety and freshness of the menu. The menu changes everyday because new fish is flown in. Our waitress Nina was awesome, funny, knowledgeable, and prompt. The waiters made sure our glasses were always refilled and the table was clean. This restaurant can be pricey, especially if you order drinks but well worth the money. Look to sepnd about $50 per person(including appetizer) maybe $70 with drinks. The variety of the menu as well as the descriptions make you want to come back and try something new. I had the crab cakes , my husband had the scallops and the other copules had mahi mahi, stuffed cod, and salmon. We were all extremely happy with our meals and spent a lot time sampling each other dishes. Very nice place for special Occations , or just because i want to go some place nice. Thanks Tory for taking the pictures for us ! Can't wait to go again.

I had the opportunity to have dinner at the Oceanaire Seafood Room, with a friend yesterday evening. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I?ve had in a while eating out in Atlanta. The service was excellent, all the way from the valet parking to the person who served our table Robert, The food was simply delicious, and the atmosphere was tranquil and friendly, it was a perfect place to be to get the weekend started. We had the Chesapeake Bay Style Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Cornmeal Fried Calamari for appetizers and they were the best we tasted in the city thus far. The food was seasoned to perfection and easy on the taste buds. I like to say hats off and thumbs up to the staff for making our experience feel like it was worth the while and the money spent.

One of the most intriguing features of Oceanaire is the preparation... not of the food, but of the Patron. I enjoyed researching the web site and discovering fresh fish that I had never tried before. I have always enjoyed Swordfish, Salmon, Grouper, Snapper and MahiMahi so much that I never tried other fresh catches! Oceanaire has me trying the Opah, the Golden Tilefish, and many other varieties just by reading the descriptions on the web site. We have always depended on The Fish Market, Ray's on the River and others for Great Fish but now there is a new standard! The Oceanaire Seafood Room sets the bar pretty high.... The best Raw Bar that is! Try it once and you to will be hooked! Thank you City search... I would have never found this Sea Jewel without this incredible Cityguide.....

Pros: Freshest and Best Education of Seafood Varities
Cons: A bit pricey, but a GREAT Special Occasion
The Oceanaire Seafood Room has an enchanting atmosphere which is perfect for anyone who is looking to escape from the daily grind. Some seafood dishes were better than others for example I thought the scallops were much better than the shrimp which seemed to be slightly overcooked. The wait for the table was almost non-existent which is quite remarkable for a busy Atlanta Restaurant. My favorite dish was the crab cakes which melted right in your mouth and tasted full of flavor.
