We go here for lunch all the time. They have a huge, fresh salad bar and a seperate baked potato bar. There is usually 3-5 soup choices everyday. I great winter lunch spot.

This place has a ton of choices on their salad bar. You can find just about everything. You also get soup, bread and dessert. The prices were a little higher than I expected, but it is still competitive with Sweet Tomatoes.

They have a huge salad bar with almost every vegetable under the sun. The bar includes pasta salads, beans, and fruits as well. They have staple soups, then a daily special soup. There is also a baked potato bar. You can get sandwiches. And don't forget bread or dessert. They got that too. I love their gingerbread and banana pudding. Very inexpensive for the amount of food you can get.

My friends and I decided to try this place out for lunch. The salad was great. They had a lot of salad topping selections. However, the soup was horrible! First I tried the seafood gumbo and it was soooo salty. There was hardly any "seafood" in it other than a few miniscule previously frozen shrimp. Then I tried the mexican corn chowder which was just ok. I also tried the vegetable soup hoping that at least that was good...it wasn't. All of the soups tasted like they came straight from the can.

The wait staff was very nice and friendly but the cashier was not. I wanted to pay with my debit card and she asked me if I wanted to put a tip on the card. I said no because I was going to leave cash on the table. Before I could even reach for the money in my pocket, she said, "They work for tips..nobody works for free". I thought that was the RUDEST thing to say. Just because I didn't want to put it on my card did not mean I wasn't leaving a tip. Before her rude comment, I figured I would come back on another day to try the famous chicken soup I've heard about but after what she said to me, I will NEVER patron this place again.

I love this place! I have been going here since 2004- since then there has been alot of changes and location has increased in size. I was a fan of "souper salads" before and nothing could compare untill I gave soup garden a chance, which was right across the street from where I worked at the time.

Everything is fresh, variety-all you can eat, what is better than that? We dont have alot of healthy options without having to go downtown or five points or somewhere you have to pay to park. This place is convenient and right next door to my gym. I love the potatoes and the option to fully load them up or load them down along with my salad, price is under 10.00 and its abundance of food... lol -if you choose to go that glutten route.

Soup Garden has an endless array of salads, and yes, soups also. Everything is always fresh, so you can really build your own creative salad. The strawberry shortcake for dessert is not to be missed.

Great salad, even better soup. The soup menu changes daily, but it typically consist each week. Tuesdays are my favorite because of the Mama Rosa's Chicken Soup. Give it a try.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The service is quick and friendly and even though it's crowded during lunch, there's usually a place to sit without a wait.

The salad bar is extensive and fresh. The breads are great (the corn bread is good, but the 'muffin' breads are excellent).

Very good price to quality/quantity ratio. It's all-you-can eat, so that's not bad at all!

They don't rush you, but you feel like it's an express lunch because of the high customer turnover. Don't feel you have to choke down your food and leave quickly. I've sat there way past my time before and as long as there wasn't a line waiting to sit, I didn't feel bad and the management didn't care.

Excellent salad bar stocked with items fresh from the farmer's market. They have all the basics plus some great mixed salads. I love it that the tomatoes are always ripe! Be sure to try the carrot/raisin salad. They have a soup bar and potato bar, but I never make it past the salad. The staff members are very friendly. Augustin is just adorable and always remembers my "agua sin hielo con pedazo de limon"! Our only gripe is that they aren't open on Sundays (I suppose everyone deserves a day off), and they aren't closer to our home in midtown! Note: Even after the initial review in 2006, my review holds the test of time. This is still one of my favorite places to eat. (Feb 2007)

a little lacking in ambience but the perfect place for lunch with a friend. salad bar is always fresh, soups are hearty (try the vegetable rosa) and the bread is almost a dessert (the blueberry and the ginerbread are great!). service is quick and accomodating.

Excellent buffet for soup and salad. Everything was fresh and the soups are homemade. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very resonable. I plan on returning.
