This was a great experience. The salad bar was great but don't fill up on it. All of the meat selections were amazing and well prepared. I had an excellent time. The staff are friendly and prompt.

I must say I didn't know what to expect when I got here. But it was worth the wild. You pull up and they valet park your car. Your seated and then the fun begins. As the other recommendations said before don't fill up on the salad bar, and the meat is just to die for! Enjoy it, I loved it! Thanks Mr. Baskerville for taking me there!

WOW, I LOVE THIS PLACE! I WENT WITH MY HUSBAND AND OUR TWO KIDS AND EVERYONE WAS HAPPY! I FELT LIKE A PRINCESS WITH THE WAIT STAFF POPPING UP SO QUICKLY AS SOON AS OUR DISCS WERE ON GREEN. THE TABLE SIDE DISHES WERE CONSTANTLY FILLED,SOMETIMES YOU DIDN'T EVEN SEE THEM THEY WERE SO QUICK. THE CUTS OF STEAK WERE COOKED TO PERFECTION AND I LOVED THE CHICKEN WRAPPED IN BACON. FOR $46 A PLATE YOU GET ACCESS TO THE SALAD BAR AND ENDLESS ROUNDS OF VARIOUS MEATS, NOT BAD. DO THE VALET PARKING OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO PARK DOWN A HILL IN A QUESTIONABLE LOOKING PARKING LOT.

My girlfriend and I went out for Valentine's dinner with a close friend of mine and his girlfriend at the time, who was going back to China. I had heard amazing things about Fogo and I was not disappointed. The salad bar was esquisite and the meat was tender and cooked as ordered. I felt like I was going to die on the way out it was so good. Try the lamb, filet mignon, and the pork tenderloin, amazing. A fitting way to send off an old friend.

They make you feel like royalty. The entire wait staff assists your every need throughout your meal. Once you turn your card to green, the men with the meat race to your table filling your plate with delicious cuts of meat. The salad bar contains so many delicious salads that you could easily fill up on and leave content! My husband and I went for a romantic date and it was the best date we've ever been on! We can't wait to return. We want to take everyone we know! Perfect place for couples or large groups. Our bill was about $100.

If you love meat this place is for you. My husband skipped the salad bar and had meat only. I on the other hand did check out the salad bar which was loaded with goodies. They had romaine lettuce, olives, mozzarella cheese, salmon, Spanish rice, mixed rice with black beans and a whole lot more. On the table you get cheese puffs, sweet bananas, and mashed potatoes and if you run out its all you can eat of this stuff. Oh and the meats, you can taste the wood on it and they seasoned the meats with sea salt. I highly recommend the Filet Mignon. If you have your medallion on green they will attack you with meat.

Kudos, kudos, kudos! I opted to hold my rehearsal dinner here. On the surface, we had every reason to have less than a great time - my bride and many of her family are vegetarian, and half my party showed up half an hour late. Nonetheless, the staff at Fogo de Chao was gracious and everybody had a fantastic time, even the veggies.

The staff allowed the first half of the party to go ahead and start ahead of the rest, a rarity in fine restaurants these days. They didn't mind explaining things twice for the latecomers. The vegetarians clamored for the salad bar and enjoyed the sheer energy of the place, while the meat-eaters...well, no need to explain the obvious. A lot of my family is from small-town Arkansas, they had no idea such a place existed.

Great food, great service. I left a 20% tip of several hundred dollars, and I wish I had left more.

My husband and I have been to the Fogo in Brazil and loved it. We were excited to return while vacationing in Atlanta. This is a huge financial splurge for us but worth every penny. Meat, meat, and more meat brought out to your table until you tell them to stop. If you can, GO! It's the best meal you will ever have. If finances are an issue, do what we did - go for lunch.

Excellent!!! Is all I have to say. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and he is a meat lover so he was in heaven. I was really impressed with our waiter and his wine recommendation. My cheesecake looked and tasted divine. The staff is very attentive..i give Fogo two thumbs up.
One thing though if you are looking for a quiet romantic spot that is where it is lacking. Its a very busy place.

Having been to various churrascarias in Brazil, I was a bit apprehensive when I heard that Fogo de Chao was opening a restaurant here in Atlanta. Showed up first week, and my apprehensions evaporated. Have been back many times since. Authentic food and service (although having to traipse to a salad bar is a very American alteration; in Brazil, they typically bring it all to your table on a million little plates.) Having said that, the salad bar is mind numbing. While you're waiting for your table, have a caipirinha or two--be careful, they have a kick! Everyone I've brought has said it was one of their best dining experiences. Even if it is a bit crowded...

It was our 3rd anniversary and we were seated promptly before 6pm. Staff explain the menu and service. Salad bar was unique and very good. As I was looking at the wine list the Manager was extremely helpful in picking a unique wine for our taste. I mentioned our anniversary and continued to eat some of the best meat that I have ever had. At the end ordered Creme` Brulee (sp) and the Manager had one of them and it said Happy Anniversary (My wife started to cry) The service, food and management is top notch. THANKS

Fogo de Chao is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. I have been to most of their US locations and they are always consistently good. The meats are amongst the best I've tasted, and the salad bar is unexplainable (everything from hearts of palm, mozzarella balls, smoked salmon, black beans and rice, proscuitto, to asparagus). The food keeps coming until you tell them to stop, and it is worth every bit! This is one restaurant you want to come to completely famished! For a less expensive option - try going for lunch during the week.

I personally would not bring a first date or for that matter anyone I am trying to impress in this place, because I just can't stop eating. The meats are perfect. I can see how some cuts can be a bit salty for American Diners. The service inside is a little crazy and chaotic, do not expect a quiet evening. Gauchos are hovering around everywhere with with 15 pound skewers of meat. For me this is where I go when I really just want food that I truley like, I don't go for ambience or environment (although the first time is definetly quite "different"

I love this restaurant. Only go when you're truly hungry. You can always get in if you go at the beginning of the dinner hour...let's say 6. Otherwise I would make reservations. Don't fill up on the salad bar, 'cause the meat is mouth watering.

Far and away the best Atlanta has to offer for fine dining. Incredible selection of beef cuts (as well as lamb and chicken) are served at your leisure. Service is prompt, courteous, and accommodating. The salad bar, for those who choose to sample, is well stocked and includes prosciutto and fresh salmon among it's offerings. Excellent dining experience.

I've been to several churrascarias in Brazil including the popular Porcao chain and Marius in Rio. Fogo de Chao lives up to the expectations of native Brazilians, as a long-time friend experienced recently while visiting Atlanta. The meats were wonderful and plentiful, just like the Brazilian tradition. The salad/buffet bar was very similar to the Brazilian restaurants, with a nice selection of authentic dishes including hearts of palm and marinated mozzarella, as well as more "American" style salad bar standards. The atmosphere was seemingly a bit rushed, but comfortable and exciting. The cost is much higher than the Brazilian restaurants, however, which usually run about $20 per person plus alcohol. Fogo de Chao was around $40 per person. Not a place for daily dining, certainly, but perfect for special occasions.

Hate to say it, being from the south. This is the only BBQ in Atlanta. Ok.. not southern BBQ but Brazilian BBQ. Without sauces the meat is 100% superb! Just like in Rio, Brazil!!!! (Except for the price... in Rio it is only US$25) Do not eat for a week before or a week after!

Had 8 o'clock reserves., arrived @ 7:30 & were told we (2) wouldn't be seated until 8:30. Nearly left, but were seated @ 7:50. Waiting at bar, witnessed bartender pour 2 different wine types in same glass. They also have a "drink ticket" system - different. Once seated we were pleased w/ salad bar but the meat was inconsistent: filet mignon was too salty! Cont

Love it, love it, love it! I am an avid restaurant-goer and this is probably my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The salad bar is great - a great alternative for vegetarians and a wonderful complement with the rest of the meal. The meats are to die for and the sides are very good too. The concept of the "stop" and "go" serving of the food makes it fun. Although pricey, lunchtime is another good alternative to go. Some of my favorite meat dishes are the lamb chops and the garlic filet mignon! There is no way to not eat tons at this place!

An Atkins dieter's dream restaurant. All you can eat meat! We were seated immediately with our reservation. The service was great! Everyone was very attentive. The salad bar was beautiful, but there wasn't very much on it for a picky eater like me. It would have been nice to have the "weird" stuff labeled. Side dishes of plantains, mashed potatoes, and fried? polenta weren't worth bothering with. Rolls were good. The meat was excellent. Filet was good. Garlicky beaf loin was great. Little chicken legs were marinated in something and were quite tasty. Sausages were nice. Sirloin was a little tough. Filet of beef and filet of chicken wrapped in bacon were both a bit dry and just okay. The atmosphere is VERY loud. There were a lot of big parties with name tags.

The food quality was very good, the salad bar and the meats... But, our meal felt like it took 30 mins start to finish... We felt rushed, uncivilized and that we were just a table-top that needed to be cleared for the next dinners... It would be a very pleasant experience if there were 30% less tables and the waiters SLOWED down a bit...

I recently dined at Fogo de Chao amd I was very impresseed with the food selection and the service was the best I have ever experienced. If you want a romantic dinner, this isn't the place, but if you want to have some of the best cuts of very flavorful meats, this is the place. Come hungry and eat slow, and eat less salad because it is all about the meat.

And go at lunch - you'll save 50%!!

The lamb is gamey, and they'd do well to include a sauce or two with the condiments on the salad bar.

I now know what the fuss is about. YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS, AND STILL BE PREPARED TO WAIT

The atmosphere is uninspired, like a hotel is decorated. But just look down at your plate, and you'll be happy!

Good god, did I eat all that? This place rocks for the hungry. The meat is excellent and the veggies are too and it just keeps coming and coming and coming. With a traditional Brazilian churrasco cooked style meats the cuts of beef, lamb, chicken and pork are superb. As delicious as the salad bar is, make sure to use it only as a garnish and not as part of the main meal. Remember you are paying a flat rate for all you can eat meat.

Fogo is a must for every lover of delicious fire roasted meats. Nothing like it anywhere else in Atlanta although some are trying. If they ever franchise I will move heaven and earth to open one of these fantastic eateries. Go early, go often. Well worth the average $50 a head tariff.

I am a Vice President of a large company, and I was in town on business and I asked friends what was a good restaurant to take a large group of clients to and they all said Fogo de Chao. When I first called I was told that they were booked for the evening and I told them that I had come down on business with a large group of people and we would really love to try your restaurant and the manager on duty took care of me and my group. I will make sure that on each of my visits to Atlanta , I must return to your restaurant. Thank You for a great evening and the wonderful food and service.

Death by protien...the even give you a flag to raise when you have had enough. by the third meat it all began to taste the same. Some folks love it EHH its ok. I hate to call something as spectacular as Fogo's salad presentation a salad bar it is so much more and I could been happy with just that as my meal.

I recently visited Atlanta's Fogo de Chao for the first time. I have been spoiled for any other steakhouse now.

As if the freshness and selection of the salad bar was not enough, but then the meats were paraded to my table, one after the other.

Each piece melted in my mouth.

The best eating experience ever!

My wife and I travel to Brasil each year, and one of my favorite restaurants, Porcao, is a place we never fail to visit.

I love to eat, and I especially love to eat quality meats, and this is where Fogo really shines. Fogo de Chao is the closest thing to the Brazilian restaurant we have found within driving distance of Columbia, SC. It is worth our time to drive to Atlanta for a day simply to enjoy a taste of Brasil without using vacation time! Don't forget to try a typical Brazilian drink. Just ask the bartender for recommendations.

This restaurant is worth the price if you are a big eater and a non-vegetarian. The service is top notch, the food is excellent, the staff are truly Brazilian, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Reservations aren't needed if you arrive early.

This restaurant was fabulous! My 3 year old who refuses to eat meat, tried some. He was very impressed with the presentation as we all were. The salad bar was top notch and the meats were delicious. There is something for everyone. It is a great place for families with children because you don't have to wait a long time to be served. The service is prompt and the wait staff is courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Vegetarians still like the bar, but beef-eaters will fully enjoy.

You pay for what you get, but you certainly get what you pay for. The salad table is very good and the varied cuts of meat are great. I would particularly recommend the rump steak, the ribs, and the lamb chops. The service is superb, and the advice we received to "go hungry" was good advice indeed. Also, you better make reservations unless you want to eat late. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault!

This restaurant had some of the best meat I have ever had. I consider myself a beef lover, but the pork was some of my favorite meat served. Service was incredibly attentive, and I can't say enough about the food and the variety thereof. The experience was pleasant all the way around.

I took a friend for dinner for his birthday and he loved it. It was a great place. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but I caught on to the concept. The drinks were great too. I've spent much more at restaurants and received 1/2 the service. It was worth the $$$. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the fact that I mentioned it was my friends birthday and they suggested a cake, meanwhile, I got stuck paying for the cake at their suggestion. Even that didn't spoil the moment.
