    I've had numerous excellent experiences with Terminix Associates. They go beyond my expectations on a regular basis. I have Termite service with them for 10 years. I had a termite reinfestation in my master bath, they came out the same day I called and inspected the entire home and found out I had another area as well as bathroom. They also alerted me that I had my heat ducts in crawl space where disconnected and they got duct tape and reconnected them for me. They called office and had sch a termite tech to come the next day on a Saturday to retreat infestation. They also informed me about a new service they offer that could save me money on engergy lost, with their Attic Insulation treated with borate against Pest all natural green product. I purchased and am saving $ 100 per month on heating and air conditioning cost per month, just as sales rep promised. Their inspectors are backed by a great Manager staff, better than they has 7 years ago these guys are truly engaged with the customers and have no problem in coming out to your home themselves. I would recoommend them to anyone. Everyone makes mistakes but Terminix will fix in and back there great ageements.

    The service was horrible. They do not show up on their appointment date or time, and they do not call. I had to call to check to see if anyone was still coming to my home. I have been back and fourth on the phone with them for days, and the situation is still not handled. The exterminators do not show up until late and they are not professional. The job is rushed. They are more concern about what you have in your home. My window was let up and left that way, without my knowledge, after one exterminator questioned me about the size of my TV. I was offered other services such as roofing on my home and referred to the termite man's friend to come out and take a look at my roof. He rushed through checking for termites, I am not even sure he fully checked. I was told by one exterminator that the reason he was 4 hours late, he had to get another drug screening because something happen at another client's house. He did not want to go downstairs in my basement to check for spiders until my husband shown up in the kitchen. My problem have gotten worse since he came out. I called the office and spoke with a Tracy about someone else coming out the following day, because I was having company. She sceduled the appointment early, because my company was coming in the afternoon. The exterminator never shown up or called. I call and canceled my contract, but I have been having problems every since. I have been back and fourth on the phone trying to speak with someone concerning my service and refund due to no professional service perform at my home. The first guy never shown up on his appointment date, came out the next day without calling, he came late in the afternoon around 7:30pm. and he rushed and did not do his job. The termimte guy came a day late and he rush through his job and was more concern about offering his friends business in roofing. It has been a horrible experience. I even been to the doctor behind this and I was diagnose with hypertention. Everytime I call to speak with someone regarding this matter, the person aswering the phone seems confused and put me off, by allowing me to speak to different ones that say they are managers, but nothing solves the problem. My refund has not been placed in my account after I was told it was by someone that said they were the manager and it was being processed as we were speaking. I have been having a time trying to locate someone to help me with my situation. The only reason I signed on with Terminex is because the sales person make it sound so wonderful in the beginning. I just spoke with someone today that did not see all of my problems I been having in the computer. She said it was nothing she could do because she is located out of State.

    I signed up with Terminex in 2005 after termites destroyed a section of my exterior. The sales push was hard and unnecessary. The initial bait instillation was $1,530.00, with a $400 annual renewal. Like some other reviewers, I thought this was high, but assumed going with a large company was better. Quarterly pest control was $320 a year, which is reasonable. The bait system and pest control were satisfactory, but when I found mice in my kitchen, my technician told me, ??We don??t set traps or remove them afterwards.?? The contract lists rodents under ??Outside Coverage,? so I didn??t question this further. I bought traps and poison and handled the situation myself. This Spring I got an infestation of fleas, even though I don??t have pets. Fleas were in my yard, garage, car, home, and BED. My technician told me, ??We don??t spray yards, and we don??t spray or dust hardwood floors because fleas only live in carpets and rugs.?? He sprayed the upstairs carpet, and I vacuumed and mopped the downstairs floors daily. But the fleas kept coming back. He came back and sprayed again, but I kept getting bitten. Over the course of three months, I bombed my house and garage twice, sprayed the yard with Triazicide three times, and dusted my floors and carpets with Borax 20 Mule Team. Nothing worked. The problem is, the flea insecticides you buy at the hardwood store aren??t powerful enough to kill flea eggs, which hatch every 21 days after they get a ??blood meal? aka, my ankles. They also don??t just stay on carpets. They go everywhere, especially in a bathroom near water. My mistake was believing my technician.

    Last week, when a Terminex salesguy came out to talk about converting my bait stations to a liquid system, I told him about my ongoing flea problem. He assured me that they do spray floors, dust hardwoods, and will set traps for mice. He even called the office to confirm this. But when my technician called to schedule a new appointment, he said, ??No, we don??t do that, but I can spray your carpet again.? I was furious! When I called the office, a woman told me that pest control services are up to the "individual technician.? In other words, when he kept saying, "WE don't do that," he meant "I don't do that." She said, ??I tell ya what, I??m gonna switch your technician. Your guy, he don??t like to do certain things, but I??ll send out Mr. Freddie. He like to do everything.? I heard a man in the background say, ??Yeah, send Freddie to handle it.? I said, ??Are you kidding me!? I was so angry that I canceled the service right then. Later, the manager left a message saying he was coming out to my house Monday morning with a new technician to personally take care of everything. I decided I would wait and speak to him then. Monday morning, a technician showed up, without calling first, and without the manager! I sent the tech away. A few hours later, a regional manager called. I told him it was rediculous to pay for pest control, and then have to spend more money to do it yourself. I told him it is common knowledge around the Ellenwood office that technicians pick and choose what they want to do. He apologized, and informed me that every technician is supposed to provide ALL the services the company offers. He asked what the manager had said, and I told him the manager never spoke to me, or came to my house. Apparently the manager told him he had spoken to me personally. I hope the boss cleaned house at the Ellenwood/Decatur office, because the lack of service from Terminex has been absurd!

    Encore: A few days later, Terminex sales called and asked if I wanted to renew my bait and pest control service. How many WAYS can you say dysfunctional?!?
