Atlanta Peach Movers

Awful and most unprofessional moving service in town. The movers showed up 7 hours later and brought the smallest truck. Hours were spent trying to dismantle items to fit them on the truck (half of them were left behind). Upon arrival in the new location,the movers wouldn't unload the items until I agreed to pay them (while children 3 and 5 were sleeping on the floor). I paid them and they assured me that they will finish the move the morning. While unloading, they broke our new TV and its base.The manager asked me to not tell the company about the incident and he assured me he would fix it for me next day.Next day I noticed more damage done (scraped furniture, destroyed carpets, etc). Regardless I showed up at the old house for the second day of moving. Movers called it off and told me they couldn't make it until next day. Knowing that I have to work next day, I told the manager that I would leave the house key under a doormat for the movers to enter the house, to which he agreed. Next day, the movers entered the house (again moved only few boxes while leaving the rest). They never returned the key to us. Was the house burglarized? I don't know, but many things have turned up missing.
I spoke to Mr. Orlando Lynch (the president) and he assured me that he would compensate me for all the damages that occurred. It's been almost 4 months and I have not heard back from them.Claim forms were filled but no compensation took place. Is it possible that I was taken advantage of due to the fact that I am a single mother?
Just awful experience and very unprofessional company and a president. Please stay away.

After three in-home quotes from national companies who sent used-car salesmen to our house I called Atlanta Peach on a rec from a friend. With 6 days to our move, Randy called me immediately and provided my very accurate and super fair quote and supplied me with all the materials I needed at the deposit time. Come moving day Tre and his crew showed up and were super courteous to my fiancee and I and also so perfectly efficient and careful! We moved 6000lbs 150mi in one day, had 0 issues or damage, and got everything in and placed exactly as we wanted. There we absolutely no delays, no issues, and no surprises with the service or the pricing.

Thanks so much to Randy and especially Tre's crew for making our move as easy on us and successful as possible! Beginning to end they made something seemingly seedy and slimey a very trustworthy and easy experience, with so little effort or stress for us! I would recommend these guys to anyone moving anywhere and will use them as needed again!

First of all they quoted me a not to exceed price, which no one else would do. Second of all, they quoted me a lower rate per hour and less hours than anyone else. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, they were courteous and kind. They were strong and did not take a break and we are talking about a AUGUST move!!! They had me moved into my new home in less time than quoted which saved me money and nothing had a single scratch on it. I was so happy with them I tipped them each $100.00 dollars which they deserved...they worked like dogs and wanted to make me happy and relieve the stress I was feeling about leaving my home and going into a new one. THIS IS THE COMPANY TO CALL!!!!!

I really enjoyed the way Atlanta Peach Movers handled my moving needs. They were very professional, and they literally catered to all of my needs. The staff that set everything up over the phone were very polite and helpful,....even with my long distance needs! I have very expensive furniture to include a Baby Grand Piano, and they did not nick, dent, or damage any of my possessions! I had a last minute emergency to have a piano moved. I called your company and spoke to J.R. Mansary. I explained to him the situation and he immediately worked out a plan and had my move scheduled by the next day. J.R. even gave me his private line to call him if I had any changes. The moving crew were just great. They helped me move a couple of items in my home that I needed help with. I will never think of using a U-Haul again. i have never used movers but when i closed on my new home and had a million things to do i decided to call Atlanta Peach Movers.

There are a lot of companies in metro Atlanta to choose from, one day i happened to look at my refrigerator and saw a magnet from APM...i forgot that it was left on my door mths ago..i knew it was a sign

I was in the middle of painting when bill called, he was very patient with me, gave a great quote and emailed me all the documents i needed...no coming into the office at all:)

he even told me they would give me free boxes if i wanted (which i should've taken)

on moving day 1/12 three men came and it was amazing hoe fast they were. they didn't play around or act like they were taking their time at all..even though my estimated 2 hour job turned into a 5 hour job, they had smiles the whole time!

i will definitely use this company again...oh and they REALLY roll the red carpet out for you :)

I contrated Atlanta Peach Movers to do a move for me on 1/6/2010 and they did a wonderful job. They had to make 3 different stops for this move and did it all in the amount of time I thought it would take. The movers were on time, very professional, wraped all my furniture even though it was brand new and secured it in the truck before they were off the the final destination. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

After having such a wonderful experience with them on 1-6-2010 I deceided to call them to see if they could move the rest of my house on Friday (the city had pretty much shut down because of the snow) however when I called JR said he would see what he could do for me. JR called me back within 20 mins and told me that he could have a crew out to the house to pack up the house and move it to the new house approximately an hour outside of Atlanta. This shocked me because most companies (even my own) was not working that day. JR sent 3 guys over and they packed up my old house and had my furnituer moved into my new house in less than 5 hours. AMAZING JOB!!!!!!

I highly reccomend you call JR at Atlanta Peach Movers to anyone that has to move belongings. Large load or small load it dosent matter they do a wonderful job, there professional and on time and do not dilly-dally to extend the time of the move. Very Honest Professional Company!!!!!! At Atlanta Peach Movers they have the attitude that training is everything!!! They actually have a mock house set up on their site where they train their staff! They were honest, timely and clean. They treated my belongings as if they were important to them as well. I was thrilled with my experience at Atlanta Peach and would recommend them to anyone who needed a mover!

Pricing was competitive with other moving companies, and the quote was returned in a timely fashion.\r

We moved from one rental apartment community to another and had 3 items damaged in the process.\r

The first was a television. While one of the movers was carrying the unit into our bedroom, we heard a loud crash in the bedroom. When we entered and inquired as to the problem, the man assured us that everything was fine. When connecting our television to the DVD player later that day, we noticed that the plastic case in the back of the televsion was cracked around the AV connections. The AV connections were also not functioning anymore. We submitted this claim within the week. \r

An appointment to inspect the damage was arranged by telephone, but no one from the moving company came to our home at the specified time. No one called to cancel. No one called to reschedule.\r

Approximately two months following our move, the company informed us that since we did not witness the damage directly or submit the claim on the day of our move, our claim could not be honored. They did give us a $50 token.\r

The second item was a desk. The front cross-strut was cracked where it supported the legs. This was not the case prior to the move. The desk had been assembled in the previous apartment and had not been moved since. This was noticed a few weeks after the move as we do not crawl underneath desks on a routine basis. \r

This claim was not accepted because it had not been filed with the first claim. Unfortunately, the company's claim documentation does not state that all claims must be filed simultaneously. The company also asserted that since the moving arrangements had been made in one of our names instead of both, only one of us was their customer. This belied the fact that the unlisted roommate signed documents and made the required payments on the moving day.\r

The third item was a roller on the bottom of a chest of drawers. It also had been assembled in the previous apartment and had not been moved since. The cracked roller was taped together with packing tape, so that it would stay on the chest of drawers. It appeared this was an attempt to conceal the issue.\r

We have two concerns with this experience: the less than forthright employees and the fidelity of the claims process. We would have appreciated if the movers had admitted when the the television was dropped or when the roller wheel was damaged. These are not expensive items to repair or replace, but still there appeared to be an effort to conceal the problems.\r

Rather than just honoring the claim, which likely would have totalled less than $150, the company sought to invalidate our concerns on the basis of flimsy technicalities.\r

We would not use this company again nor recommended its services.

This will be my third move with Atlanta Peach movers, and Antwon & Jim have taken excellent care of me every time. Great service when scheduling the move & great service on moving day, every time!
