I went to the 40 40 Club for the SuperBowl. The reservations were messed up and all the tables were given out and nothing was left. It was crowded and the drinks were really expensive. It looks great on the website, but I would pass.

NYE 2009....I go outside the club to smoke and I see a man running from the club, tailed by three husky security men in suits. The assailant wasn't running quickly at all. In fact, he had time to fall, roll over, get up, and keep on jogging! I thought to myself, "If it was something serious, 40/40 security def dropped the ball." He turned the corner and was gone....

A couple of minutes later, undercover police arrive. Then, a girl comes out of the club and i thought someone spilled wine all over her. But, no. her body was red from scratches all over her arms and legs and she was hysterical. She was outside in a mini in one degree, windy weather walking around the club with 40/40 "security". probably trying to find the same guy that they let get away......

Needless, knowing that someone was assaulted and possibly worse inside the club ruined my NYE....how can I drink the night away when I felt totally unsafe???

40/40 has everything great food, music and VIP rooms. The appetizers are delicious. i really enjoyed Chicken Quesadilla and the cheese fries. You must try Fried Snickers for dessert.
