The food was TERRIBLE! It is a very cute restaurant and the staff was very pleasant when I arrived. Thankfully, I figured out where I was going because the girl who answered the phone told me it was on a different street. But I found it and it looked really nice. I was very excited for my to go order. I got home and was so disappointed. I had ordered chicken pad thai--my favorite Thai dish. It was awful! It didn't taste like any chicken pad thai I'd ever had before. The sauce was sweet, almost as if it was noodles in bbq sauce. My husband order shrimp lo-mein that was equally terrible! Halfway through our meal, he turned to me and said "mine is really bad" and I said "mine is awful too." I had been looking forward to an asian cuisine dinner all night and was so excited to arrive home with our dinner. The food was terrible and ruined my whole night:(

Pros: trendy area of town, nice atmosphere
Cons: horrible food, ditzy staff
I went to this Pei Wei as I had a coupon. I am SO glad I did. This area of town is very cute. I was suprised that this area of town has, essentially, gone yuppie. Pei Wei is housed in this nice new retail development. I love PF Changs. Pei Wei is the sister of it. It has a limited menu, smaller/normal size portions, and is just as good and a portion of the price. I love the Mongolian Beef and the choice of white or brown rice. I also like how it is not as "formal". It would be nice if they got the Pin Rice Noodle soup or whatever it is called.
