Joe's Crab Shack

This place gives a bad name for the restaurant. I have no complaints about the service. However the quality of food is low. The seafood was not prepared well and not as fresh as you would want a crab shack to be. I ordered the soft shell

Great Place awesome food, more casual than we expected but not in a bad way, also cheesy but not in a bad way.... food was great, drinks were great, my waitress was fine but not spectacular... they had a PLAYGROUND for my kids to play at while we waited, lifesaver 20 minutes seem like 20 hours for 5 year old twins we were also given the option of sitting outside in the patio benches near the playground which we took...... will come back for the food and playground, only thing is you gotta know what to order if you dont want greasy fare theres a lot on the menu, and a lot of it actually is great waitress was very helpful in helping us avoid 'grease' like above, all you had to do was ask

This restaurant has been on my "ban" list. Too salty 2 out of the 3 times I've been. Don't have a huge kids menu if you have little ones with you. Their kids stuff are greesy fried stuff. Mac N cheese isn't all that. I hope they've changed that.

The best crab! The people were really nice, and the mussels were amazing. I found my favorite restaurant. So much better than Red Lobster and cheaper too. The dunganess and king crab legs were delicious.

great experience great atmosphere and great food!! happy hour was the best! $2.00 drinks and $0.25 rings of fire!! mmm mmm good!!!

Bad experience with this location when they first opened a few years, gave them another try to see if they had improved. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 people 3/22/08 6:00PM Sat dinner, waited 20 min for a table, got seated, server NEVER showed up, no one even came by to see if we wanted anything to drink. Then they turned up the music SOOOOO loud we couldn't even hear each other across the table!!!! Then to make matters WORSE..the servers all started dancing, meanwhile we are left ALL ALONE with nothing to drink, not even ordered our food!! We get up to leave & the dancers won't even get out the way to let us out!! No one at the door even said goodbye or anything!!!! We will definately NOT be back to any Joe's EVER AGAIN!!!!! BTW..the waitresses all looked like sluts!!!!

I have been going here since they opened. Joe's has fantastic crab and super shrimp dishes. They also have a fantastic bar selection. There is a lot going on both with decor and environment. Staff is friendly but at times the girls get a little too friendly if you know what I mean. It gets really crowded on weekends and evenings. There can be quite a wait at times (over an hour), so on those days I recomend reservations. Food takes a bit to get to you but what do you expect when your crowded and have great food. Great place for groups and kids. The staff dances for the guests and there is always going on. It is a bit $$$$ though. Overall fun place to eat.
