Excellent! Betsey Carpenter made a house call yesterday for one of my cats, and what a result! I am so relieved. He'd been gradually more and more stiff for a few months now, lying down against the wall after eating or using the litter box. My regular vet sort of shrugged it off as old-age arthritis, but then I noticed he seemed to be in real pain after several unsuccessful attempts to find a good squatting position in the litter box. I took him for acupuncture (which worked incredibly well for my dog years ago), but it was too intense for him and didn't relieve the pain. Plus, it was too far from my house, too stressful for him.

Enter Betsey Carpenter! I found her at the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association website, and I was grateful to learn she makes house calls at a very reasonable price. She also has office hours at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists, a highly reputable hospital.

She got down on the floor and was slow and non-invasive. She would do a few gentle adjustments, let him walk around and relax, followed by another few adjustments. He was perfectly content! And now he's feeling great! An hour after she left, I saw him using the litter box very comfortably. WHAT A RELIEF!!! In fact, I had her do my other two cats for minor stiffness issues, and they are improved, too! I am so grateful.

Pros: expert care, fast results, house calls, easy appt. scheduling, great price

Cons: that many vets are ignorant about the fantastic results from chiropractic
