Before I even had the chance to get past the cordial 'greeting' I was already getting yelled at. Driver took my wife's car w/o even talking to her at the scene of an accident. Had two car seats in it, and my wife was stranded w/ a 4 year old and 2 year old on the side of the street. Then they charged us to bring our own carseats back, just so someone could pick up my wife. $428 to tow the car 4 blocks! I simply asked questions, and talked calm and respectfully and was treated worse than I have ever experienced w/ any company. I will never use them again and have filed complaints w/ all of the local places that matter and can do something including the CHP who called them to pick up our car. As a small business owner for the last 13 years, I haven't been perfect but I have had enough common sense to treat customers w/ respect even if I couldn't discount then for whatever reason. The most basic business principal would have been to treat me w/ respect so that I would consider using them next time I needed a tow. They have no idea how much money they lost the day they treated a complete stranger like trash. From my own business, to my dad's who owns an Allstate Insurance Agency w/ 6000 clientele will definitely never use this company. Although the dispatcher AND secretary deserve physical abuse, the best I can do is practice my capitalist rights... Thank goodness I just happen to have a large reach and can make a negative fiscal impact on their business that will actually be felt.
