La Brea Express Car Wash

Express is just that--a quick, convenient way to get my car clean in a hurry. Car washes are few and far between and this one is on my way to work and to church. An attendant takes my money while I stay in the car. Vacuum station after the wash is optional/self serve. No loitering or panhandling is allowed.

This drive-through car wash will do "in a pinch". It will keep your car from being embarrassingly dirty, but it's not too good for a 'sparkling clean' look. Due to the convenient location, there are sometimes 2 or 3 cars ahead of you. Even still, your wait won't be long. Everybody moves through pretty quickly. At times, there's an employee there to give you a "pre-scrub" before you go through. This helps remove a little extra dirt, but a more vigorous machine would be better. Compared to other drive-throughs, this one is not too great.
