Its not every day that you come across a true German Bakery. This place is such a cute addition to the area. Not too sweet but not to dull. Its just right. Everything from the pasteries to the croissants to the tarts are divine.

One of several outlets for Hans Rockenwagner's yummy baked goods. This place is brand spanking new & is very pretty. The display case shows off their wonderful selection of breads and pastries. Kinda pricey though.

This is a great little hole-in-the-wall bakery. It's walking distance from my house, and I frequently pop by to grab a loaf of fresh-baked bread. Hans R. does a great job of providing the basics and some really interesting baked goods.

I've been searching for a great German Bakery in LA, and I've found it! The pretzel baguette is TO DIE FOR. I have to confess that I've only tried their various pretzel incarnations, because that's all I was after... but I would
