Printutopia

Printutopia, you're the bees-knees. I had a little trouble figuring out your website, it could be due to my lack of e-shopping and complete lack of knowledge of printing but someone had the brilliant idea to prominently post the office number, address and email on the site for those of us that are computer-challenged. I had some great help over the phone and got my order in with no problems. Thank you.

I was flying out to my new office in Dallas in 2 days and wanted to get some business cards before flying out so that I wouldn't have to get them shipped to TX. I went to several places and was told either no, can't do it in that time or yes, but at a ridiculous price. I came to these guys and was told that they would not be able to produce them in that amount of time but that they could get them printed in their TX shop and just send them to my office from there. That worked for me and the cards look fantastic.

Top quality stationary. The staff will spend as much time as you need helping you get exactly what you need. I ordered personal stationary here, and they were great. I was a bit frustrated with the proofing process with other printers I tried but getting a proof with Printutopia was no sweat. I asked for a press proof for a stationary set that was printed with spot colors and while the press proofs are not cheap, they happily obliged. The proof looked great and they began printing the job immediately after my approval. I was literally still there seeing the printing press print away my letterheads. It was very impressive and a great experience.

I've just had some menus for my restaurant printed with Printutopia and they've been very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. There were a lot of people and changes involved in this process since my boss needed to make changes, the designer needed to be in touch with them, my boss' partner was involved and we were all contacting one person (David) at Printutopia. He was completely calm and helpful with us all throughout the entire process and the menus turned out to be beautiful and produced in time. My boss, his partner and myself have all dealt with several printers for many years and we all think the people at Printutopia are top notch. Thanks guys!

I didn??t know they sold it but just popped into their office and asked
if they sold any of their papers and was shocked to hear: ??what kind
are you looking for?? I bought some really sweet Strathmore with 25%
cotton for a project and was on my way with ream. They also cut some

I told them I needed them for Monday at the latest and I went in on Thursday afternoon. The person that helped me said that they usually require 4 business days to complete the order but they??ll expedite the order for me if I wanted to. I needed some printing and pulled out their card to give them a call and noticed they have an e-commerce website. I ordered directly from their site and had my items shipped to my office in Manhattan. Everything looked good and my boss was psyched.

Where do I start? I ordered some cards from this company and didn't end up getting the final product until over a month later. Why?....

The first batch of 500 that I ordered were misprinted, so I took them in to the store myself and showed them, they happily offered to reprint them at no extra cost and overnight me the new cards. Waiting time I was told: five business days.

Six business days pass and I have heard nothing so I contact the vendor and ask what the status of my reprinted cards is....a day later I get a response via email explaining that UPS has "lost" the reprinted cards and that if within 48 hours they haven't found the package then the vendor will reprint, yet again, another 500 cards and personally deliver them to me. I ask for a tracking number, twice, and I am not provided one.

48 hours pass and I contact the vendor, they inform me that they will have to reprint the cards again and will hand deliver them. Waiting time: five business days. In the meantime they deliver me a couple hundred of the originally misprinted cards for my meetings.

Five business days pass and I am sent an email stating that the cards need an extra day as the rounded corners haven't been cut correctly. This infuriates me as I have postponed a number of meetings so as I could have the new cards, I am forced to use the misprinted ones. I wait a day or two and the cards are finally delivered, to the specs I had originally submitted to the vendor.

This whole process was poorly managed. And their customer service was initially very good, it didn't particularly continue to be. I could have received a phone call about the rounded corners not being correct, but instead I was emailed. All of their interaction with me was via email, and all of it was far from prompt.

The cards do look good, the stock is good and I'm happy with how they turned out. However, I will not be using this vendor again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. When you misprint something once, then lose the replacement batch, then delay the third batch, you lose customers.
