I would like to thank Chris Mellows& the staff for helping us do what was right for our 15 year old dog. & the care they give my dogs. I have a 8 year old timed large dog & now a 8 month old wired terrie min. I would only take my dog to Viscaya- prado Veterinary . I been going there for about 13 years

We absolutely love Dr. Kroll - the best vet I have ever dealt with. He is wonderful with both my two cats and yellow lab. His bedside manner with not just our pets, but us is great! One of our cats has urinary tract issues. So every 8 - 12 months he has a flare up and needs medication, I am able to go to the office, get the medicine and not have to bring my cat in. The previous clinic we went to required us to bring him in every time - thus charging us for a office visit. Plus further stressing my cat out by having to go there! Love this clinic and wouldn't take out pets any where else!!!!

this vet is very knowledgable and experienced with ferrets. best ferret vet available to cape coral, ft myers, lehigh area. they have vaccines in stock for ferrets, and are very reasonably priced. plus they are willing to help with discount sevices if you are on a tight budget.

This vet absolutely sucks!! I took my pet to them with a simple case of loose stool. I even had the records of how a prior vet had treated the same problem successfully. No, they did not carry that medicine! Let's give you a comparable. By the time they were done, my pet was in full diarehha and they had no answers to stop it. Is this is a vet you would want to use?

And did I mention that they lost the records I gave them twice?

Office staff, arrogant and incompetent. A more more unpleasant bunch I never met.

Dr. Kroll is one of the nicest and best animal doctors I have been to. We have been taking our cats here for about 20 years and all the doctors are wonderful, but Dr. Kroll has a BIG place in my heart.
Very patient and explains everything, always takes the time you need and goes beyond the call of duty.
Thanks Dr. Kroll !!!

We have gone to many vets over the years and have found no comparison to Dr. Kroll at the Viscaya-Prado Vet Hospital. Whether it is the cats or the dog, his knowledge and recommendations far outweigh others who tended to guess their way through treatment. If your loved one is a four-legged who is suffering or in need of a compassionate and highly capable professional, choose Dr. Kroll, he's the best!

My husband and I started taking our dogs and cat to Viscaya Prado when we lived in Cape Coral, we loved them then and now that we live in North Fort Myers, we still go the distance for the service and care we know we can get there. We've been to other vets but none compare, we especially love Dr. Kroll, he's so compassionate and soft spoken, nothing is too much trouble for him or his assistant, you can tell that they care about their patients just by the way they listen to what you have to say, they always answer our questions, no matter how stupid they may sound. As someone who use to work for a vet, Viscaya Prado is the best, I'd never take me pets to the place I worked at. I have a new cat now and she'll be going there from now on as well, I know they love her as much as we do. One of our dogs has hip displacia but that makes no difference, they give us advice on how to keep him going and so far, Thank God it's working, we know the time will come when nothing will help him, but for now, he's comfortable, and I credit that to the wonderful doctors and staff at Viscaya Prado.

I have been taking my dogs to Viscaya-Prado Vets for over 20 years. They are not only excellent veterinarians, but they are also compassionate and caring. If it had not been for them, my first dog would have not lived past 11 years old. With their expertise, he lived to a very happy 15 years. My second dog lived a healthy 15 years under their care and now the third and fourth are still getting the same quality of care as the first. I recommend them all the time.

I purchased a tiny chihuahua puppy from a reputable breeder. When I got him on the 9th of Dec. he was healthy and full of life. I made an appointment for him on the 17th at Viscaya Prado to get some boosters and examine him. The vet himself even said he was healthy upon examining him. The vet proceeded to give him the shots and I asked is it ok to give a tiny puppy 3 shots at once? He looked at me like I was an idiot. And then gave my puppy the shots. I of course trusted him because who was I to question someone with years of schooling that I hadn't gone through. So we took the puppy home. After a couple days he was still tired. I noticed he didn't seem to be eating or playing as much. I took him back to the vet on the 20th when his stool turned into diarrhea with blood and he started dry heaving and was lethargic. He lost 1oz. The vet tried to do a fecal exam but he was "cleaned out" from the diarrhea. The vet said it was coccidia or parvo and gave him albon and sent him home with a can of hills a/d. I took a fecal sample in and they tested it. NO COCCIDIA. So then my puppy has parvo?! After a couple more days the puppy didn't get better he just started getting worse. He was throwing up, his diarrhea worsened and he was even more lethargic. We took him to the ER on the 23. The vet there was so helpful she tested him for parvo, intestinal parasites, and giardia he came up negative for everything. She even gave me special care instructions for the puppy. He started seeming better. He still had ups and downs, but now he had more ups than downs. Upon further investigations on my part I found out why my puppy was so sick and came so close to death and why my boyfriend and I have not slept in weeks and been so stressed out. THE VISCAYA PRADO WITH NO CONCERN FOR MY PUPPY'S WELL BEING OVER VACCINATED MY PUPPY. I asked several highly recommended vets and even posted my questions online and researched different diseases and illnesses. They all pointed back to viscaya prado. Every vet has told me the same thing. YOU DO NOT GIVE A TINY PUPPY SEVERAL VACCINES AT ONCE THAT CAN KILL THEM. OVER VACCINATION IS DEADLY FOR PETS. IF YOU HAVE A SMALL PUPPY THAT NEEDS TO BE VACCINATED THE SHOTS SHOULD BE SPREAD OUT OVER A COUPLE OF VISITS.

I've been bringing my dogs and cats since they were little pups and kitties to Viscaya Vet. The staff is super friendly and refers to your pet by their name. The doctors are very friendly and take the time without rushing with each visit. I've had two cats neutered and declawed, and have had no problems with any of the surgeries!! In fact, their paws were so tightly wrapped, they had healed with no problems!! They've rewarded my loyalty to thei office by fitting me in on several occasions when I've had an emergency! I wouldn't take my pets elsewhere! No cons only pros!!!

PROS: staff service, doctor expertise,
CONS: none that i've experienced

They are so nice there I have been there for over 13 years. the Dr. will answer all questions and even teach you somethings.I Brought my dog somewhere closer to me never again.I will make that extra 45 min drive to someone I trust with my babies. They are a clean office. the price seems to be average. but who could put a price on someone who cares for your animals, or someone wanting to get you in and out for the next patient.
