By far one of the best sushi around! They know their sh*t. Hayakawa doesn't even compare because their sushi isn't as fresh.

MF has smaller portions but the quality and taste makes up for it. I usually go on a slow night or before the 7-8 pm dinner crowd and the service is always exceptional. Too bad I don't live in Atlanta anymore, otherwise this will be my frequent joint.

Went there again because i was craving the food there. Had to get some more kobe beef and uni! If you have no idea what types of fish to get. Ask the chef or waiter to make sashimi or nigiri for 2 or whoever is in the party. They give you the best cuts and the best fish

Everytime i eat here I get hit what i like to call "food coma" where the food is so good that it makes me feel like I'm dreaming and don't want to wake up. Try the toro, giant clam, and kobe beef. Yes real Kobe beef from Japan. I'm definitly planning another dinner soon!

You gotta try their sushi and grilled foods like kobe nigiri, seabass, and baked lobster tail! Everything is great, but these are a must have when you go!!

I went to MF Buckhead hoping to place a To-Go order. The hostess politely informed me that they are a dine-in only restaurant. I really had my hopes set on trying MF's sushi after hearing so many great reviews. I asked why? The hostess informed me that they are dine in only because MF prides themselves of providing the freshest products. In order to ensure their customers receive their products in a timely and efficient manner, they prefer to directly present the courses to the guest promptly after it comes out of the chef's hands. She said in order to ensure such freshness, MF also goes to the lengths of having their fish flown in daily from Japan.
This sparked my curiosity even more so I decided to dine in.
As the hostess guided me to my seat, I was stunned by the exquisite decor. Honestly, I thought to myself "I bet what I'll be paying for is the ambiance, not the 'fresh' fish".
I sat at the sushi bar directly in front of the MF's "right-hand chef", Ito. The moment I sat down, he greeted me. He asked me a number of questions in order to better understand my own palate. He told me "I know exactly what you'll like"... and slowly yet steadily, I streamed through a number of outstanding dishes. The freshness was mind-blowing. Honestly, MF's sushi was like none I had ever tasted. I had the spicy tuna tartare topped with fresh quail yolk, Uni Nigiri (definitely the most natural, virginal Uni I have ever tasted!), and Negitoro Maki Roll (Toro and scallions) and Kinmedai Sashimi (Red Snapper).
Best meal I have ever had! I'm glad I decided to dine-in because now I completely understand why MF does not do To-Go orders. This place is breath-taking. It's ambiance and decor perfectly matched the decadent entrees. By far the freshest food I have ever had. And I had the pleasure of getting to watch Ito make everything!! If you do decide to go, sit in front of Chef Ito.... I guarantee he'll take care of you.

I truly believe that the service is really what made my experience extremely satisfactory.
My friends and I went on a Friday night around 8:30. The restaurant was pretty busy. We didn't have a reservation and we were asked to wait. There wasn't a long wait, but to pass the time, we had drinks at the bar. We were seated before we finished our drinks.
For starters, I'm not a huge fan of sushi but my friends are huge advocates of constantly trying new foods. I was hesitant to try anything raw or extremely "fishy". But the server kindly suggested items that the majority of other "hesitant to eat raw items" customers order. I ended up ordering the 'King-Crab Roll', "Shrimp Tempura Roll", and the "Chilean Sea-bass" (which was absolutely amazing; practically melted in my mouth). All three items were delectable and best of all... cooked!!!
We topped the dinner off with an extraordinary desert, made in-house, by their pastry chef. This desert was like nothing you can find anywhere in Atlanta. It was a 'Green Tea Chocolate Tiramisu'. Absolutely amazing.
Seriously, best dinning experience because there is something satisfactory for first timers as well as long-time sushi lovers!

This is a truly one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. It has a great mix between incredible sashimi or rolls and entrees's from the Robata grill. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Although I would recommend only the adventurous order the more exotic things like the kobe beef tongue which is actually better than you would think. All in all it is one of the best restraunts I have ever eaten at and definitely worth all of the praise it has received. You have to be ready to spend some money but you will get what you pay for. Enjoy!

We went to MF Sushi for a friends birthday. We made reservations, like you would expect for a higher end restaurant experience. We arrived on time and we were greeted by the host. She ran to the back and upon coming back to the front told us they were busing our table and it would be a 10-15 minute wait. In that time a group of 3 came in and knew the manager. They were seated immediately. At this time, a new hostess comes over to my friends and myself and states " yeah, you know that table we told you we were busing? well, it's no longer available". As she walked away from all of our stunned faces, we decided to leave. We were treated with complete disrespect. We made a reservation, arrived on time, and in the end our table was given away to someone who did not have a reservation, but instead happen to know the Manager.
Thank you MF Sushi! Between myself, my girlfriends that were with me that night, and anyone else whom I can tell ... we will NEVER be dinning with you again.

We go to MF once a week -- usually Thursday or Sat pm's....we love everything about the place from the cocktails, to the food, to the waite staff, to Alex, Chris and Gary, to the newly opened lounge in back, to the scene!

Check it out -- You'll like it too!

This place was awful. I definitely will not ever be back here. The staff could barely speak English and the service was very poor. You could tell they wanted you to hurry and eat so they could sit the next table. Felt very rushed. Sushi was very bland, nothing new, nothing exciting and wayyyyyy over priced for what you got. This place is definitely not worth it! If you want good sushi, there are several other places worth pursuing.

My friend and I came in for the first time last weekend and had a great time. The service was great, the sake list was extensive and the sushi was DELICIOUS... it's simple, uncomplicated sushi, no special sauces or dressings needed...the best in Atlanta.

I truly hope the economy doesn't keep MF Buckhead from succeeding because it absolutely deserves to.

With two young daughters, our night's out are rather rare and this was a great way to celebrate. With a concert starting at 730, we went in early. The crowd was sparse but the setting, food, experience were nothing less than wonderful. Great attention to detail in the fish and the service. A "special" serving of fresh wasabi was a nice touch for newbies to MF Buckhead.

I take customers to MF Sushi on Ponce quite a bit so I knew the food would be good but didn't expect the Manhattan-like feel and special touches that distinguish MF Buckhead from other Sushi Bars (and other Restaurants for that matter).

People talk about the price, but after a lot of corporate dining at steak houses and fusion places throughout Atlanta and the Southeast, this is one of the few places that absolutely delivers a GREAT VALUE for the price tag. Quality of fish, quality of environment, etc were all excellent and made the meal.

It was a great night out and MF Buckhead was the right way to start it. We'll be back for sure.

I took my girlfriend to MF Buckhead for her birthday because she always wanted to try the robata grill at Buckhead. The minute she walked in she was glowing. We don?t go to fine dining restaurants that often and MF Buckhead by far is one of the most beautiful restaurants we?ve been to. The only drawback for me was pricing. MF Buckhead is pricier than our usual trip to MF Sushibar but on special occasions it?s worth it. It is a nice treat from the ordinary and I know my girlfriend really enjoyed the evening because she called her friends raving about the place. Definitely worth it if you?re trying to please someone you care about.

I never knew MF Buckhead was located in the Terminus building! (The same complex as Lola, Bricktop?s, and Aquaknox) For months, my friends and I have been traveling to the Terminus for Bellinis, but one evening I noticed lights and shadows of people through the windows of a building next to Bricktop?s. I asked the Valet what was going on and he informed me that it was a restaurant called MF Buckhead, the sister restaurant of MF Sushibar. My friends and I cancelled our reservations and decided to dine at MF Buckhead that evening. Unfortunately there was a 30 minute wait because we didn?t have reservations but the wait went by pretty quickly after a few cocktails at the bar. The hostess sat us at a banquet along the wall which allowed us a view of the sushibar. My friends and I felt like royalty from the grand entrance to the wet towels brought to clean our hands. The Shrimp Tempura roll is my favorite?I had to order two to suffice my taste buds. From now on my friends will be traveling to the Terminus for sushi and cocktails.

Was a little discouraged from the off comments I've heard here and there. BUT.... I've always been a fan of the Kinjos so naturally it was my next place to visit. They did it again!! Really bringing something special to the atlanta dining scene. I've been to the likes of Nobu and Morimoto. Those guys in NY do not an edge over this place. Atlanta should be proud! Nigiri and sashimi selection are impressive. The live scallops and toro are out of this world good. If you need a roll to fill you up, I say the shrimp tempura roll. It's not just any shrimp tempura roll though. Oooooo ... and the black cod off of their grill menu.. .. to die for. Btw, it's not just your typical grill. It's some pretty fancy stuff. I had a good server!! The price tag, hmmm... about $200 for 2. Not so bad for a 5 star restaurant. Certainly beats the many dinners I've had with the same price tag.

I had friends from my Miami come through for the weekend and thought I would impress them by taking them to M F Buckhead since I've heard such good things about it. We had reservations Friday night but waited a bit at the bar. No big deal. After a cocktail at the bar, we headed over to our table. I must say, the restaurant was very very nice. The energy was good and there were plenty of good looking customers. Once we sat down though, things took a turn. Our server took forever to get to our table. She was pleasant though. The food, although excellent, came out so randomly and slowly. After a while, we were all getting annoyed at the service. The server must of sensed our frustrations cause towards the end of our meal, the manager came over to apologize. He explained that they were short staff unexpectedly and bought us a round of cocktails. It was a good gesture on his part. We ended up staying towards closing and bid everyone good night. Needless to say, we were happy and ready for the night. I would definitely come back!!

For our one year anniversary, my husband surprised me by taking me to MF Buckhead. After entering through the grand entrance, the place was buzzing with young, beautiful people. Despite our reservations there was a little wait, which I was bummed about, but luckily there was a bar. The bartender immediately greeted us and made our stay at the bar pleasant and the waiting time passed quicker than I thought. After being seated, the aroma of food made my mouth water. Our server greeted us with wet towels to clean our hands and made the experience more enjoyable with his knowledge of sushi. He explained all the different items and offered help with the food selection. My favorite was the uni (sea urchin). The seaweed wrapping the uni was so crisp and the uni was to die for. The server also offered us fresh grated wasabi. The entire experience was like an escape from the ordinary. The food was so different, the people, the atmosphere, everything made the dinner so memorable. I hope my husband makes MF Buckhead our anniversary tradition.

My best girl friend and I love love love sushi! We are always looking for great sushi places, however our budget doesn?t allow us the greatest selection all the time. We have always wanted to try MF Buckhead after visiting MF Sushibar in Midtown, but were a little wary of MF Buckhead?s reputation for a heavy price tag. After a lunch at the Midtown location, a fellow customer at the sushi bar overheard our conversation and mentioned that MF Buckhead had an affordable lunch menu. Needless to say we were ecstatic and immediately made lunch reservations for the next day. The atmosphere and environment the Buckhead location offers is breathtaking. I can only imagine the way the restaurant looks at night. We sat down at the sushi bar and glanced over the lunch menu. Everything was under $20 and offered soup and salad with the meal. The only weird part was that the restaurant was pretty empty. Maybe people don?t know they?re open for lunch but their lunch menu is a steal! I had a sushi combination with nigiri and my girl friend tried the cod off the Robata grill. Both of our mouths watered the minute our food was brought out. Everything was delicious. Even the salad was delicious. I usually never finish my soup and salad, but I could not help myself. The salad was so fresh and topped with the best ginger dressing I have ever had. My nigiri was beautifully placed and the cod was cooked perfectly. My stomach is growling thinking about it. I can?t wait to come back and get my Sushi Combination C.

When my grandmother and great aunt came to visit from California, they got off the plane and craved sushi. My mom and I started thinking of some Atlanta places that offered sushi that they would enjoy. In California there is an abundance of sushi, and my grandma and great auntie are big sushi eaters. My mom and I didn?t want to disappoint them, so we asked my cousin; the ?foodie? and she mentioned MF. She recently went there with a couple of friends and thought the sushi was great. That night, we made our way to Buckhead, and the minute we stepped through the glass doors we were enchanted by the beautiful d?cor inside. My grandma and great auntie were impressed. My mom and I were relieved. After seating we were greeted by a sweet server who guided us through the entire menu. She was very attentive and helped my mom and me, the sushi newbies, while my grandma and great aunt ordered away.

My favorite dishes were the Kobe Beef roll and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I have never had sushi that literally felt like it was melting in my mouth. The experience was even more rewarding because my grandma and great aunt were really enjoying themselves, and it felt good to make them happy. Between the two, they have 16 grandchildren they have to visit across the country, so we only see them once or twice a year. However since their last visit to Atlanta, they planned another trip in August and mentioned their craving for MF?s Kobe Beef Roll. I think from now on my mom and I will simply use MF as bait to lure them back to Atlanta over and over again.

I live within walking distance to MF Midtown and have been a regular for many years. The food is just to die for today as it was the first time I set foot in what today is a neighborhood landmark.

A few midtown friends and I finally decided give MF Buckhead a try ? all I can say is WOW!!! The d?cor is breath-taking and the food did not disappoint one bit. We recognized a few items from the midtown location such as the baked lobster tail, lobster box roll, and Godzilla roll which we just had to order. A few of the sushi chefs recognized us as well from working in the midtown location. They encouraged us to try some of the less familiar items. We started with the hamachi sashimi appetizer and the tuna tartar which were both absolutely delicious. We were all new to the robata grill and needed help from our server. She was a huge help and recommended the miso duck which was presented over a Japanese grill box (awesome!). Then came the miso cod which had a nice smokey and sweet flavor. We finished off the meal with a variety of sashimi and nigiri which were all incredibly fresh and a great way to end the meal.

The meal was memorable for all of us and we can?t wait to go back. Not sure which location I prefer, they?re both wonderful in their own way. Buckhead is more elegant and definitely has a more 5 star vibe to it ? midtown is more relaxed and probably more suitable to be in midtown and down the street from me. Overall, both are top notch restaurants and for Atlanta.

My husband and I have been patrons of MF Sushi for years. And every time we dined there, we never felt like it would break our bank account. But the Buckhead location is something completely different. It's NOT an MF Sushi in Buckhead. Instead, it's like another restaurant. You can feel that it's from the same owner, but you are definitely in another restaurant. There's a sense of grandeur about this place that's not like the mom and pop feel of their Midtown location. They have the same nigiri and sashima selection but not the same appetizers and special rolls. My husband loves the raw stuff, but I like the cooked appetizers and the special rolls that the midtown location has. We did try the grill stuff and thought it was great. But just for sushi and something more casual, I think we're going to stick to the ponce location. It certainly helps the wallet.

I had a great time at MF with my girlfriends. MF?s environment was exactly what my girlfriends and I were looking for before stepping out into town at night in Buckhead. Their Sake list was extensive, but had great descriptions for every Sake listed. We ordered a bottle of sparkling blueberry sake to share, and the night only went uphill from there.

MF has a great selection of rolls to pick and choose from. The king crab and cucumber roll is by far my favorite. The quality of fish was top-quality and tasted awesome! Some of my girlfriends do not eat raw fish, so they were pleased they were able to see a few dishes from MF Sushi bar on Ponce de Leon, such as the Baked Lobster Tempura and Baked Green Mussels. Besides from those two dishes, we also enjoyed a few items from their Robata grill. I loved their Miso Black Cod and Assorted Mushrooms that you yourself get to grill at the table, definitely a show-stopper and had other tables around us inquire about!

I remember when MF Buckhead launched, they had their ad at Jezebel, PEACH, and even reviewed by Meredith Ford from AJC. I went there for a few times and I thought it was a magnificent work of Kinjo's brother. BUT....It WAS like that, I just visited them Saturday night after 4 months away from Atlanta, seems like they have LOST THE MAGIC!! First, there was no more 5 stars class service like they used to have, it took quite a while to greet, drinks, and even food wait was crazy! My app came with my dinner! Moreover,I asked one girl who brought my food for any recommendation or special of the night, instead, she seemed clueless and went to the kitchen to check and never came back. I odered some sashimi, and when the food arrived, I didn't get the chance to ask the fish name because they left quickly. Terrible..I think MF does not stand for "MAGIC" Finger anymore...It should be a five star dining not a mess. I will not suggest this restaurant to my colleagues or clients or anybody anymore...The service and food taste It is not worth for the money anymore!! My advice, take your money to somewhere else and get a better deal for your money...really a shame..

Pros: Romantic interior design and pretty lighting

Cons: SERVICE, FOOD WAIT, ATTITUDE, MUSIC, $$$$$

Thursday night, I just had dinner at MF with some of my important clients, and i brought them to MF because somehow i read in the magazine and was hoping to get a spectacular dine-in experience as it advertised, also to impress my important guest of course. Unfortunately it turned out to be a whole experience of embarassement!! The restaurant is pretty though, but the service was horrible, the food was slow, the food was not as spectacular as I expected, small portion for a lot of money, awful music. My food came withsome garnish that i didn't even know what those were, the server just dropped the food and left right away. After that, i had to ask three times for my check. I do not recommend this place, you can take your money to a better place to get better food at fair price. It was a ripped off and horrible service overall. In this hard economy condition, you all should think wisely! I will take my clients to somewhere else for sure!!

Pros: Nice decor

Cons: $$$$$$$$, horrible service, poor management, average food for a lot of money.

hands down, this is the best sushi that rhis sushi snob has had in atlanta. the food quality, decor and hot-looking hostesses would hold up in grown-up cities like NY and SF.

but five of the six times i have been there the service was unbelievably slow. the staff has always given comp food to amuse us during that wait, but, for a high-priced high-end joint, they need a lot of work on execution.

the service is so slow, you may want to consider packing a lunch. but the kinjo brothers need to get on it and improve the experience. the food is better than atlanta understands or deserves.

Went there last night with a reservation for 4. Got a table behind a divider which was bad news as there were many other tables open. It took FOREVER for the waitress to show up to take our order once we had our menus. She did not know what some of the items were or what some of the prices were for the Market Price things on the menu. This was just the beginning of terrible service. And then she asked if we would still want those items anyways or if she should find out the prices first!

Once the food came out, the portions were extremely small and one plate had the sushi with these small rolls on the side which we thought were just small pieces of cucmber rolled up. Turned out those small things were our squid order. The fish quality was very average - thin, somewhat firm, and even the fattiest tuna they had was not melt in your mouth good. It wasn'd bad, its just that I would have paid half of what I did for the food. They are obviously shooting for a look that appeals to people who want to be seen, and not aiming high enough for the service or food quality. Dinner for four without drinks and with tip was $200.

I will not go back, and if someone has good sushi recommendations for me, would be happy to get them.

We went there for a friend's birthday because we really enjoyed the original MF Sushi. Well, this location's menu is different and a lot more pricey than the other one. The plates were basically tapa-like sizes with main entree prices! Service was very slow and inattentive. The food was good, decor was very trendy. I guess if you have plenty of disposal income, then this place is for you. If you don't, then there are a few other quality sushi restaurants in th Atlanta area with more sane prices.

i don't understand why they advertised on their website that they don't use oil or fried anything in order to let "top ingredients shine." i went there the other day and they have tempura rolls and fried softshell crabs on the menu. don't get me wrong, they were good. i've been there before they put those items on the menu and they seemed so firm in believing serving "traditional" japanese food. now they changed what they believed in merely for some extra sales. pathetic management.
service was excellent. Female servers are beautiful and attentive.

I've had sushi in some of the best restaurants all over the country, and MF is definitely one of the best! You can tell they pay a lot of attention to detail, from the edamame (they grate the salt right at the table) to the buttery toro. They have stuff you can't get anywhere else, and everything tastes fresh. The waiters and bartenders were very friendly and helpful, they kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. Sake selection is extensive, decor and ambience are elegant. I read one of the reviews by another citysearch member, and to me, it doesn't matter what rumors are going around about the owners (most likely spread by haters or disgruntled former employees), the food speaks for itself.

If you want some great sushi, I recommend you head over to Zuma. MF is just way too hyped up. Decor is nice, I'll say, but the food is literally so-so and might I say overpriced. Oh and the waitors are kind. But the owners are just terrible, I hear, from previous employees including current. One of the brothers, Alex, I hear, talks a lot of rude unneccessary things about other Atlanta business owners, and I also hear that he could possibly be bi-polar. I wouldn't feel comfortable eating there, giving them business while in the back of my mind knowing he's bad mouthing people. Who knows, he could be talking about you while you've been seated. Like I said, if you want great sushi try out Zuma, nice service, delicious food and SINCERE OWNERS.

My husband and I were spoiled from living in NYC and eating Nobu sushi. We decided to try MF Buckhead on a whim, and were very pleasantly surprised! The sushi quality gave Nobu a run for their money, and the service was excellent. While the portion sizes weren't very large, the flavors were exquisite. The fish was very fresh, and the seasonings on the grilled fish were really tasty. I've seen reviews on this site complaining about the high price of sushi at MF, and find myself wondering if those are the same folks who rave about RuSan's, which is some of the worst sushi I've had the bad luck to try. You will always pay more for quality sushi, but foodies, be advised - this is very high quality sushi. In my opinion, it is well worth the price! If you're looking for something cheap and passable, this is not the place for you, but if you're in search of world-class sushi, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

It's just like Geisha House in Atlantic Station! They put too much money decorating the place, and advertising that they forgot to pay attention to the food. The food isn't bad, but compare to it's price i wanted more from it. I've been hearing raves about this MF (Magic Fingers) for years! But when I finally tried them out, it seemed the money I was paying for was just for the atmosphere and the ambiance rather then the food (which is the most important!!!) I also wanted simplicity. I don't want to open the menu and get bombarded by endless lists of food. It didn't help that their service was so so. Yes, this place looks high-end, and yes, I'm wearing jeans, but I'm paying glorious amount of money for a teeny, weeny piece of fish and by god, I want some attention!!
I would rather go across the street to Yuka, or Haru Ichiban on Duluth.

I've eaten sushi and dined at a lot of places here since I've been in Atlanta. I must say that MF definately surprised me with the amazing quality of their sushi. Too many times during our meal I found myself telling the waitress to send my compliments to the cheif and the liquer list is wonderful. I am a sake drinker and when i asked for the list I was informed that they had over 200 different sakes.. Let's just say after the food the night was a blur lol... The setting is great, very upscale. If your in the market to impress or just be around a positve vibe, this is definately your spot. It's a great place to be, the management is extremley helpful. With the staff you can tell that it is more than just a job to them, they take pride in their work. My best wishes go out the MF Buckhead.

This is supposed to be a 5 star restaurant but the only thing that reflects the 5 star about it is maybe the decor and the prices. Service was horrible....as soon as we were sat, the server came by and reminded us that we had to order quickly because they closed in 45 mins. and mind you that the menu probably had a 100 things to choose from and not very descriptive. Would prefer to be told that they were closed before getting seated rather than rush my dinner experience. My friends and I try out new restaurants every week and I have never been treated so rudely at any restaurant let alone one that is supposed to provide exceptional service. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Food is over rated...taste the same as any other authentic sushi place minus the rude staff. They are confusing being rude and cold with being professional and proper.

This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker as the "best sushi place" in town only to find that I was in for a RUDE awakening! The seabass was okay but the size was smaller than my palm, no veggies and no sides on the menu. You'll have to order at least two-three entrees to be full (and I don't eat much) since the portions are so ridiculously small. Please try the seabass and sushi at BluSushi on Cobb parkway in Smyrna! We went in there happy and left grumpy and unsatisfied because of snooty service. Pacing was off hence my friends finished eating before my order arrived (their food was getting cold so they had to eat) The staff including the manger was very arrogant and wanted us to be grateful to be there. After being treated horribly the manager decided to give us a 20% discount which we refused and chose to pay the full price. What they don't get is that we were there for the service and a good time and not for a discount because we knew it was a high end place going there. With all our complaints the manager never came to our table but used the server as a liason, and sent us his business card (?).

Definitely not 5 star. i arrived 30 minutes before closing time, they brought my friends food about 20 minutes before mine; because the server forgot to place my order. She realized she forgot to place my sister's (the birthday girl) order as well when mine arrived. the server refused to place her order telling us the kitchen is now closed. by then my friends have already eaten, my food just arrived, and my sister can't eat because the kitchen is closed. we ask to speak to the manager who never came out, we later realized she didn't call him. to add insult to their unacceptable behavior, the server kept saying, last call is 11.15pm, knowing we arrived at 10.30pm. i will not recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if it's an important occation.

The duck we had was amazing and I don't like duck at all. However that grilling wood works is a wonder to me. But every thing we had was amazing. The no. 7 sushi roll was better than any sushi I have had anywhere in atlanta. Be warned, that the price is not cheap. But I would consider this one of the best restaurants in atlanta! More like a special occasion place. Beautiful waitresses that were definitely knowledgable and helped us pick out the best options

From the woman who parted the beaded curtain as we entered the restaurant to the bartender who made a good wine suggestion, to the server who handed us a warm steaming towel, the service was excellent. The servers are friendly without being overly attentive, all are knowledgeable and the attention to detail is really incredible. The lighting fixtures overhead move continually like melting gold. Chopsticks are perched on a polished stone, and water is served in tall slender glasses. Each individual piece of the tuna tataki was like a little piece of art. The freshly grated rock salt on the edamame is even fancy too. We ordered the specials of the day described by our server, which did not disappoint. All of the meal was delicious and fresh-tasting. I would recommend MF Buckhead for entertaining clients as the atmosphere is unique and memorable. The menu is pretty pricey, so this is a perfect dinner spot if you happen to be using the corporate credit card.
