This was my second Audi purchase and first from Sonnen dealership, which turned out to be an excellent experience. We walked in on a busy day.. Sales manager Indy greeted us at the front reception. He spent his time to understand my needs

Made an appointment to purchase a 2001 BMW 740il from sonnen VW. It must have been a trade in from another person. I live in Los Angeles which is about 450 miles from Sonnen so I wanted to make sure that the car was available before I made the trip.

I spoke with the salesman Aythami Yanez and made an appointment for the following day. We spoke over the phone before I left the house and again once on the road. He asked what was my ETA, I told him and he told me to drive safe and he would see me when I arrived.

Ten minutes before I arrived at the Dealership, Aythami called me and told me that the car just sold.

$200 in fuel for the round trip and 16 hours of driving, 8 up and 8 back all wasted due to the unethical practices of this dealership, where they put making a buck over any care or consideration for their customers.

It was a blow to me as I took the day off of work to buy this car. He could have put the car on hold for a few hours. Told the perspective buyer that he had someone driving 8 hours to purchase the car and it that person. Put yourself in my shoes. I even offered to leave a deposit a few days earlier and they said no, just get up here.

Bad Business Sonnen.

Service techs didn't tighten bolts correctly after installing a timing belt. Several months later bolts broke. When I took the car back to them they told me that impact damage had caused two bolts on the top side of my engine to brake. Car

Audicat probably works there. This place is a scam. I purchased a car from them and within 3 days it broke down. The car was a lemon and they lied about the car's history. The car was in an accident and they lied about it. The worst part

Horrible and unethical dealership, especially the Finance Dept.

I have my car for two weeks thinking that everything went smoothly with my paper. I was compliant with all the paper work Mike, the Finance Dept, requested within 24 hrs. I have had the car for 2 weeks and I received a call that he needed an updated payroll stub within the last 30 days, which he did not clarify with me before. I sent him one 34 days old.

He calls me on a weekend I was out of town unprofessional txts me on Monday demanding the info. for the deadline of my loan. I let him know that I was concerned why it took 2 weeks to take car of the problem. I got a second loan, so I drove an hr. and a half to the dealership to pay them off. His customer service was one of the worst I have experienced.

He said he could not take my money because I have to deal with the bank. He didn't even know the bank my loan was submitted to or even a phone numnber. All he was worried about was getting paid and I had to deal with the bank and not with Sonnen anymore, but he needed my ino. to send to the bank for the deadline. I go to bank, no loan has been generated - it was rejected.

Mike tried to cover his ass because he turned in the paperwork late and was incorrect. I tell him I want to talk to his manager and he says he is the big boss and I need to talk to him, but he doesn't even know which bank my loan is at.

I have spent the last two days calling the dealership and the bank, both which claim the other party owns the car. So, I don't know who to pay off. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Take your business to a REAL dealership. Do your research and see all the bad reviews the company has received and how Sonnen has dealt with it.

This place is full of scum bags and unethical people. It should be reported to the BBB. My first-time buying experience will never be forgotten. They thought they could walk over me because I am a young female. I hope karma comes back fast. Screw you Sonnen Motors!!

My review on Sonnen Porsche of 900 Redwood Hwy, Mill Valley, CA. I will give you the picture and will let you judge. My daughter went to Dominican University of California at San Rafael, on 65% scholarship (of the total cost). She was to study pre-med. As a gift for her success, we let her use my Porsche Boxster (2002). After returning to school from a home visit towards the end of November 2008, she called me and told me that the car was showing some engine problems, hesitation. So, I went up the next Saturday to take care of the issue. We drove the Boxster (please keep in mind the word "drove") to Sonnen Porsche. Gary Wright was present that Saturday and was nice to us and took the car in for service/repair and the charges would be US $ 180. I told Gary that we were not in any hurry as I was from San Diego. After a week Gary called me and told me that the automatic transmission was "completely" shot ... they found that there was NO transmission fluid in the transmission!! [Question for you: How could my daughter drive from San Diego to the bay area, almost 600 miles, with no transmission fluid?] To fix the transmission, it would take $ 11K. I told him that I was not prepared for such expense at that time and that I would be making a trip back to the bay area towards the end of January 2009 and would pick up (tow) the car. Gary talked to his boss "Richard R. Runk", the service manager, and got back to me and told me that it was okay ... as no harm was done. I was late by a week and I went along with my daughter to Sonnen Porsche on first Saturday of February 2009. The service was closed and the sales were open. The wonderful people from sales force at Sonnen Porsche started to laugh at us (my daughter and me) and told us that "Richard", the service manager had auctioned of my car at a DMV lien sale , about 10 days ago (from the day we stopped by to pick up the car). Supposedly, Richard has sent us notice of lien sale via US mail, something that we never received!! The car is worth far more than $180 (the service inspection cost). My daughter was present when I was talking to the sales associates. Upon hearing the news from the Sonnen Porsche sales people, she had a mental break down. She had to drop out during second semester at Dominican University. She also lost her scholarship, etc. For the next 6 to 8 months, our family had to go through mental turmoil from medically treating (psychiatric and counseling) our daughter, which is still continuing. I called Sonnen Porsche and left several messages for Peter Sonnen (owner) to return my calls. I never received any return courtesy call(s). The Verizon (cell phone) and Cox telephone (home phone) record will show calls from me and none from Sonnen Porsche.

In the past I posted my displeasure on Sonnen Porsche at "yelp" website. Richard Runk, the service manager, sent me a threatening e-mail via Yelp, stating ??If you do not remove your post with my name in it I will begin to post what I found in the car and why your daughter had a nervous break down.?

I will leave it up to you to judge the character of people at Sonnen Porsche and if they have scruples. I visited the Marin County Superior Court website and performed a quick search on ??Sonnen? as the defendant, for the time frame starting from mid 2001 through February 2010. The county record displayed 54 (fifty-four) individual law suits with judgments against Sonnen Motor, Peter Sonnen (owner) and other individuals with Sonnen ownership, etc. Thanks for listening and please watch with whom you do business.
