We dined at The Mint on 8/14. It was our first visit to The Mint. Previously, we had dined at Asian Mint.

Both the food and service was as awesome as Asian Mint. The servers were very attentive and quick. The crab fried rice was superb. The red curry was perfectly spiced. The Pad Thai was delicious. I would not miss their signature dessert, the green tea ice cream cake.

I would rate both Asian Mint and The Mint as one of the best Thai restaurants in the Metroplex.

My friends and I love to spend times at the mint. We love their spicy tuna crib, beef salad, steam seabass along with a glass of an amazing sakejito with fresh mints. One more thing we have to have everytimes we at the mints is green tea icecream cake! GinaT

I am a sushi lover and even though there's no sushi here, they have this amazing appetizer...spicy tuna crisps...spicy tuna tartar like with seaweed salad, cucumbers, mango, topped with spicy mayo, sriracha all on a crispy...oh so good! texas roll is also a good one and tuna salad. their dressing is very refreshingly tasty.

I'm glad to have the mint in the neighborhood. their food is really tasty and has a nice healthy touch to it. their stir fry asian vegetables and tofu is good and make sure to finish off with their green tea ice cream cake. martinis are very nicely shakened and chilled..try the limedrop. cheers.

I am a big fan of the mint! They are one of the best restaurants in dallas that you should try. they are good because they are fresh, flavorful, great value, consistant, great atmosphere, and friendly service. The restaurant has a nice cool blue feel to it and you have to feel it for yourself. I would like to keep the mint as a secret to myself but that would be selfish. I'm spreading the love. Try their spicy tuna crisps to start, some salad with their peanut dressing and go wild in the menu. everything is good depending on what you like. pad thai, pad kee mow, mongolian beef, kuung pao chicken, stir fry asian vegetables, cashew chicken, sea bass, crispy duck, kua kai, pineapple cashew fried rice, crab special, it's all good. enjoy.

The mint is one of my favorite spots for relaxing time! I love eating-out, especially in restaurants offering healthy food. The mint is the place that's always come up on my mind when thinking about dining out. I love their stylish-blue decor designed by the young/ talented owner--Nikky. The atmosphere is pretty chilling, yet nice. Regarding to the food, I've been trying several different dish every time I go in, but never got disappointed in any order so far. However, my regular is always started with a Seared Tuna Salad as the appetizer, followed with a Steamed Sea bass with a side of brown rice, which makes a perfect combination when ordering with their smooth Green Tea Martini. Highly recommended for those who love Asian Fusion food!

If you love Thai food, this is the place (The Mint) to go. The Mint on Oak Lawn deserves its reputation as the best Thai restaurant in Dallas. The atmosphere is great. There are two locations of the Mint.
I has been to both of them.
One is near 75 central Expwy, called Asian mint which is green.
The other is on Oak Lawn, called The Mint, which is blue.
I started with the spicy soft-shell crab and it surprisingly came very quickly. The soft shell crab was fantastic. Five stars. ? Perfectly crispy.
Then I ordered the Pad Thai with a combination of chicken, tofu, and shrimp and the Pad Kee Mow with beef. All the main dishes that I ordered were awesome. The Pad Thai was fantastic. The Pad Kee Mow was great, also. BOTH WERE EXTREMELY DELIOUS. For dessert, we ordered the Green tea ice cream cake. It was so yummy. The services were nice and the owner is friendly.

The servers were very attentive about refilling glasses with water, which was nice.

The prices were surprisingly inexpensive for the area.

I?ve tried many Thai restaurants. Trust me, THIS IS THE BEST ONE IN DALLAS.

Been here many times. The food is really good. You will not be disappointed. Word to the wise...hold off ordering the entree until the appetizer arrives. Otherwise, they will both arrive at the same time (common theme with both restaurants).

That being said...really annoyed that The Mint and the Asian Mint are stacking the deck "The Best of Citysearch" vote. Seriously, The Mint Asian...is one of "The Best Italian Food" nominees. And have 17% of the vote.

I'm calling "Shenanigans".

The Mint is a hole-in-the-wall Asian-food restaurant with great food, a great place to take a date that won't break the bank, a large menu (but bring reading glasses, the type is small and the lighting is subdued). But I go for the cake. Namely, the green-tea cake, a giant slab of somewhat oddly-green colored, luscious dessert, a must-have when I go. I never eat dessert in a restaurant, but I always do here!

Asian Mint is just great. Eat there as often I can. Appreciate that they will serve their Asian stir vegetables with different menu sauce like ginger. Especially enjoy the menu specials offered monthly-they are so creative and you must try the The Mint Platter-comb of Chicken Satay, Dumplings & Summer Rolls. Service is the best tool

I spend most of my time traveling which means many meals at restaurants. Dallas is home and rarely do I go "out to eat", when I am here. For my birthday some friends insisted on taking me to "The Mint". OMG What a wonderful surprise! The food is better than one would expect and the desserts are heavenly. I usually don't eat ice cream, but after tasting their fresh coconut ice cream we had to order another. My personal favorite is the raspberry creme brulee. Take a friend and treat yourself-you'll be pleased. Blessings, Dr. Michelle Taylor

We have had many delightful meals at Nikky's other great restaurant, Asian Mint, and were eager to try the Mint on a night out at the Dallas Symphony.

We had some difficulty finding it as we did not have with us the exact address. Later we found that it is on Oak Lawn/Preston Road (whatever ) just north of Fitzhugh/Wycliff ( whatever ) on the east side of the street.

If you see the D Magazine office, you can start looking for a parking place, because you are close.

The meals are light and healthy and the place is immaculate.

The service is always attentive, with your water being refilled frequently, and there being no doubt that your satisfaction is paramount to the wait staff.

We love this place, and it is great for Symphony evenings.

I have had pad kee mow everywhere and the mint has the best I have ever had. pad kee mow is a stir fry noodle dish full of flavors from basil, chili, and garlic. I love it with beef and it's so delicious! I enjoyed the friendly staff that let me enjoy my company and lunch and we ended the meal with a great cup of illy cappucino and their chocolate flourless cake. it's to die for! the atmosphere was also very comfortable and cool all in a blue chilling tone!! love it! best thai, dessert, coffee, and service!

This fun and s e x y thai restaurant was quite a change for us from the regular thai restaurants in dallas. Located in highland park, this thai restaurant uts a fusion twist on traditional dishes. artfully and full of flavor all of the dishes we have tried have been prepared with care and flavor. If you are looking for a hip yet quaint thai restaurant with a great martini, try the mint. If you are a fan of Asin Mint restaurant on forest, you will love this place as well.
