I just had my roof replaced. The foreman showed me the dryrot that had to be repaired. This was an unexpected expense for me but it could not be helped since the old roof had to be torn off in order to see it. I am very happy with my roof. My house looks the best in my neighborhood! The crew was always on time and the clean up was great. Highly recommend Yancey Home Improvements.

Although Yancey Bros. had to change their name to Yancey Home Improvements in the middle of my project, (due to the loss of one of the,""Bros.""), the great customer service I recieved never skipped a beat! From my Project Manager, Steve, to my Foreman, Hugo and all the way to the owner, Tom. Each of the people I meet from Yancey during my project exceeded my expectations. Yancey Home Improvements has the reputation of being the,"" Hilton of Home Improvements"", and they did not disappoint. They made all the other contractors I'd dealt with in the past look like the Budget Inn! VERY professional. When they took off my old roof, they discovered the back of my house already had plywood. So my Project Manager gave me a credit of $960. I would of never known about the plywood and he could of just left well enough alone. But he said something to me that has made me a lifelong, ""Yanceyman"". He said, ""The true judge of a man's character is what he will do when no one is looking"". And he proved it that day! So if you want a company with true character, honesty and professionalisim, lokk no furture then Yancey Home Imporvements.

I interviewed over eight other contractors before i decided Yancy Company for my patio cover. I can confidingly say i made the right decision. My patio cover was finished last week and we we are so very pleased with the whole experience. The crew was so friendly and helpful. All our windows need to be changed out, our next project. I will definitely call Yancy first.

The project foremen and crew were very efficient and timely. The work result was excellent. The salesperson, however, was very hard to get a hold of, so I was not kept up-to-date on when the work would start.

Sam from Yancey was great and answered all of our questions before and during the project. The roofing, siding, and painting teams were all very professional and performed excellent work. Only complaints were that the schedule wasn't always communicated accurately, so I didn't know which day to expect the team. Also disappointing was the great difficulty in reaching Sam/Yancey again to change the trim around a gable. Felt like they were much more responsive before we handed over final payment. I would still recommend them, though, for the quality of work and professionalism exhibited during the majority of the project.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Yancy folks. Our project was a big one and we appreciated having our hands held during the process, the professionalism of our project manager and the hard work done by the crews. Some nasty problems were solved for us by Steve Kenyon. He is a treasure.

I called to order new windows for my house. The salesman arrived as scheduled, showed me the information and the did what he had to. A few days later he called to let me know he had the pricing done and came for a second appointment. He was very prompt, polite and knowledgeable with the products.Got a phone call from Yancey setting up the pre measurement and then the install, great customer service from the office staff who were also very knowledgeable.The team, Miguel and Jim, came out to premeasure the windows and then to do the installation. What a professional team these two are. They are extremely polite, neat, well mannered, and conscious of the client at all times. Miguel and Jim kept each work area clean as they went along and made sure there was not debris anywhere before they left. They offered the absolute best customer service I have ever received from any contractor and I would definitely highly recommend Yancey to anyone needing work done.Thank you Yancey for the professionalism and quality of workmenship your team offers.

I had my beautiful new garage doors installed by Yancey Company. The product quality, speed of installation, and great crews exceeded my expectations! I will certainly use Yancey Company for my next home improvement project which will be to replace the siding on my entire home. Highly recommend!

This company has a great reputation and very talented staff that are very helpful and crafty when doing a remodel. Although I didn't personally get the remodel my next door neighbor did and I spent a lot of time during the remodel at there house, the staff at Yancey works efficently and are very professional. They are always willing to answer questions that the customer does have and not use a lot of technical jargon.
