Terrible and expensive buffet with show that is best missed. If you want to eat and a buffet, skip this one and walk a few extra steps to the hotel across the street, it will be worth your time and money.

Our first trip to Vegas from NYC, we were excited to check into our ??Deluxe Room on the LV Strip? Yeah right! Finding the room was a maze on the 17th floor, once we arrived, the room looked like it was decorated in 1960??s!!! Small room, white wicker furniture and tube TV!!! Seriously!!! No refrigerator or even coffee pot in the room. The Front Desk Staff not very friendly, the Front Desk Manager, Jason, was like, oh well! Not the cleanest room either, dingy, moldy smell, even in the hallways! Two weeks prior I stayed at the Motel 8 in Denver, CO. and the room was nicer!!! Unless you are there to gamble 24/7, (which we don??t gamble) and don??t care about the quality & cleanliness of your room, don??t stay here!!! We felt we were screwed because we paid way more that the room was worth!

I just went here for some saturday afternoon poker and I had a blast. The dealertainers are hokey and hilarious if you dont take the place to seriously. I mean who doesn't like to play poker with above average players while a little richard impersonator lip sings little richard songs. The poker dealers are nice and talkative and never are too harsh when someone makes a mistake. I had more fun here playing poker than mandaly bay or the luxor.

I had stayed at the Imperial Palace for 2 nights while my stay in Las Vegas. The hotel was ok. The bathroom had black rings in the tubs, other than that it was clean. Also they had a luau Saturday night just for $30 which was worth the money for the food and show. Also the pool area was nice and spacious. The hotel itself was ok in my experience at the hotel.

This hotel was nice and clean. It was a little out dated, but was still okay. It had spacious and nice rooms. .Great balcony overlooking the strip. It was a better price than some of the other more fancy hotels.

My best friend and I have been to the Imperial Palace for their spa treatments 2 times and everytime we go, we never want to leave! Their staff members are very professional and make sure you are comfortable at all times! Their prices for all of their treatments are very affordable! We cannot wait to go next year!

the imperial palace is a decent hotel, but is not up to speed when compared with the much newer expensively appointed hotels it competes with. But for a bargain place to stay close to the action its pretty good.

The admission is free, but you might need to contact them or check the web site to print the coupon. There are many beautifully restored autos here and many of them are actually for sale. It is located on the fifth floor of the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino and the strip. There is a video playing which shows Johnny Carson's old car and the car itself was donated to the museum. There is a good sized store there will all sorts of memorabilia and street signs and photos and book, etc.

PROS: Free. Beautifully restored cars.
CONS: I don't like to go to strip locations, but that's just me.

If you are going to Vegas on a budget you might want to check in to the Imperial Palace. It has modest accomodations, and is located on the strip. The rooms are clean and well kept, though nothing spectacular. The pool area is simple, but nice enough and there is some grass to lay down on while soaking up the sun which is very nice and relaxing. I haven't tried the buffet but it is cheap and probably okay.

Imperial Palace might not be the first place one would think to stay at when planning on a Vegas vacation, but the location of the hotel is great!! You are within an easy walking distance to many other glamorous hotels. So why not save some money and stay here and go gamble and check out the sights at the other places?

This hotel is located in the middle of the strip. The hotel is oriental themed. The hotel is older but the payouts are better then the newer hotels. (thats my own personal preference). The hotel rooms are Just like a ordinary room, not to fancy. The price of this hotel is very cheap compared to other hotels on the strip. The casino at night is very fun, they have their staff dressed up in rock and roll attire, they also have loud music going, I enjoy myself when i play table games there at night.

PROS: middle of strip, good prices
CONS:

On our honeymoon night we were so excited to stay in the Honeymoon suite at Imperial place but we were quickly disappointed about our "magical" night. First we had to wait a good 15 minutes for available elevators to take us to our room. We would have walked if our room hadn't been on one of the top floors and if we didn't have all our luggage. Plus that night they were having one of their many luau parties down by the pool, that lasted until 1 am in the morning. Needless to say we were happy to just be together and to start our life together, but we wish we'd picked another hotel for our first night of wedded bliss together.

If you want to stay on the strip without breaking your pocket for lodging cost, Imperial Palace is your best bet.

It's an older casino compared to other ones on the strip, but it's reasonably clean and decent. If you become their player's club member, you'll get postcards throughout the year with even better deals (something like $29/night for week nights in Nov/Dec, plus $25 comp dollars and free buffet). Invest your savings from lodging on more gambling :).

PROS: best price for its mid-strip location, clean and spacious
CONS: older than other casinos on the strip

This casino is a lot of fun. It is not newly renovated but still seems very inviting. We played a lot of table games here because the minimum bets were very low. They also offered FREE lessons to anyone wanting to learn how to play craps. We took the lessons and the instructors taught us everything we needed to know. Then they let us play with their chips and practice.I am very impressed with their casino and their employees.

The Imperial Palace really is a great place to stay on the Strip. You are in the middle and close to so much in walking distance. The best thing to do while at the Palace is to check out their Auto Collections on the fifth garage floor. There were lots of cars to see and you can easily spend a couple of hours really checking them out. There was a nice tribute to Johnny Carson and images of him and his car.
The casino was made extra fun by the dealers dressing up like movie stars and occasionally one of the 'stars' would start singing... making great fun! I also won playing slot machines.

PROS: Happy Go Lucky Atmosphere - Cool Car Collection
CONS:

The Imperial Palace is a great place to stay. The room rates are reasonable and the rooms are pretty nice. The bars in the casino are great. I recommend the deluxe suite if you can get one. I will definately be back.

My first stay here was in 1998. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay at while in Vegas. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are huge! It's right on the strip across from Caesar's Palace, so if you'd like to check out the shops there, it's not far of a walk. Imperial Palace has a great parking lot, so you don't have to constantly search for your car if you rent one. Check in was very easy, as was check out. Also, the buffet in the restaurant was great.

We stayed at Imperial Palace for the first time in May 2005. We had a deluxe suite and it was better than I expected it to be. The tub was huge. The staff was friendly. The only thing that was a problem was the slow elevators. We will definately be back again though. It was a fun casino as well.

I wish I had enough money to buy at least one of the cars here. They had an awesome collection of cars and they went through great detail on telling you all about the cars on the little ""name-plates"" they have. The neatest thing is that you can really buy these cars, makes you wish you didn't gamble first thing. But is was well worth getting ""stuck"" in the elevator on the way up!
