All of their Cookies and Brownies are freshly baked, so you know you are getting quality dessert. The prices are cheap as hell too... $1.50 for an Ice cream sandwich, or $1.00 for 3 of their amazing cookies. My favorite ones are Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate w/ Macademia, and Candy. The brownies are also above average. They have plain brownies and brownies with walnuts, and both just melt in your mouth.

On some nights, the line for Diddy Riese can almost go to the end of the block. People have waited up to 20 minutes just for an Ice Cream Sandwich. Diddy Riese is definitely worth the wait.

My out of town boyfriend had heard about the cheap and delicious ice cream cookie sandwich shop in westwood from his friends. One visit, I decided to surprise him by taking him there after dinner and it was the perfect cherry topping to end the night.

They don't overwhelm you with a variety of fifty three choices of ice cream and cookies, but they definitely give you enough choices so that anyone who walks in will be satisfied. From a few ice cream choices to a matching few choices of freshly baked cookies, the price is ridiculously worth it. Nothing is as close to feeling free as the $1.50 you pay for an ice cream cookie sandwich. You almost walk out feeling guilty!

My personal favorite is french vanilla ice cream with one chocolate chip cookie for the top and a double chocolate chip cookie with walnuts for the bottom and I enjoy it with a hot cup of coffee.... the hot & cold contrast is amazing! My boyfriend enjoys the mint chocolate chip ice cream with M&M cookies.

Diddy Riese cookies are amazing. Delicious, fresh baked, huge cookies in many flavors with an AMAZING price! Really, it can't be beat. I can't buy cookies anywhere else because they knock the competition out of the ballpark. Imagine Mrs. Fields quality at a fraction of the cost...add to that the ability to get a ice cream scoop between two of these guys, for practically no money, and you'll understand why the line always exists. Totally worth the time, parking hassle, and calories...

I know for a fact those cookies are not made with lard,I've been a baker& pasty chief for many years & I know the difference and I personally know the owner who only uses the best ingredients.The taste proves it.

Hate to spoil the fun, and I love this place, but there was a rumor back in my days at UCLA that the cookies taste so good because they're made of lard. Makes sense, cause fat tastes good. I have a friend that can sense the fat content in food -- (e.g. I tried to trick him into eating frozen yogurt instead of ice cream once, and he screamed -- he loves the taste of full fat ice cream), and he absolutely adores this place. "Lard rumor" gets a huge point there.

Still, that doesn't stop me from buying a bucket-load of these suckers. Since when do whole wheat no-fat cookies taste good? Might as well eat bread. If you want a cookie, might as well go all the way.

The way people are ravng about Diddy Riese Cookies you'd think they were baked by God's Grandmother. They are good but there are better cookies to be had. I am giving it a one star rating just to take it down a peg.

This place is the bomb- where else can you find cookies this good for so cheap! 2 cookies and milk or 2 cookies with ice cream between them for only $1!
