Cambridge Locks Men

AWFUL!!! These guys are the worst. The locksmith (named RAY FIRESTONE) was late by 2.5h, he took advantage of the fact that we were trying to soothe a hungry, cold 1mo old baby to overcharge us ($1000 for 4 locks), he had us pay cash (I found out later that he kept the amount paid hidden from his bosses), he put the equivalent of flimsy bathroom knobs on our front and back doors (unsafe), the knobs were actually used not new, and he took forever because he kept talking (he was trying to sell us his girlfriend??s artwork and asking us all sorts of personal questions)!! We were desperate to finish up and take care of our screaming baby, so we didn't realize what a crap job he did until the next morning. When I called to complain, the company was extremely rude to me and threatened me. So I called Ray, and when he thought that I was going to report how much he charged us to his bosses, he offered to come fix the knobs. He initially tried to convince us that we should pay for his time and for the new knobs, but in the end, after we said we would call his bosses, he did the exchange without charging us (even though he kept angling for a tip). When he came the second time, he couldn??t even figure out how to install the new knobs??I had to look at it and explain it to him and ended up helping him to do it. It took forever, and the work was just adequate. These guys are cheats all around. AVOID!!!!

They do their service as any locksmith, but overcharge for everything. If you do not want any bad surprise ($$$$$) stay away.

Stay away. Worst company ever. They arrived at my place fast (within 30 min) but completely overcharged for the service. I feel embarrassed that I even payed for it. The guy charged $150 for a rim cylinder (which I later easily found online for $25 (!!!!!!!!). They also charged OVER $150 for labor, which makes for almost $300 per hour (yeah, it took the guy only 30 min to do it). Anyways, I can go on and on. Please don't use this company. They don't deserve it, and neither do you.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

PS: I have the strongest suspicion that all these positive reviews here are from friends of folks "working" in this company.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They are so over the top overpriced that it will feel like you are being extorted. They charged $65 (!) for the visit, then $150 for 30 min labor (!!), then $180 for a replacement part for a total of over $400 after tax. PLUS the guy demanded payment in cash. It was ridiculous. Simple advice: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. It is that BAD.

Refused to quote price on phone. Arrived 1 hour late. Threatened to call cops if "service fee" of $60 not paid, despite no service having been rendered and services no longer being wanted due to absurd price quoted after they arrived. Check Better Business Bureau rating of "F." Note that a majority of the 4 and 5 star reviews here are from one-off reviewers with a location of San Fransisco. I wonder how often the Cambridge locks men take trips to the West Coast?

Last week I had got my car stolen by my ex. I was so frustrated i ended up calling this locksmith servicfe and had them re-key my ignitions and all four locks. Thank you guys so much

I needed my cash box opened at work, because my boss forgot to leave the key with us. I called Cambridge Locks Men and they gave me a great price to open it. They did a great job.

I needed service at 4 in the morning but all the other locksmiths were closed. I had almost given up when I found these guys on google- They are open 24/7!!! It was such a relief.

I was moving my stuff to my new apartment and I lost the keys to the moving truck. Cambridge Locks Men were able to gie me a new key and a spare for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them for any lock service you are looking for.

I own an apartment building and the front security entance broke. I called around to see who could come right away and Cambridge Locks men sent someone over right away. It was nice to get it done right away.

My garage has been stuck for 2weeks finally I called a locksmith to come and help me out with it. I wasnt trying to pay alot for something I could do myself I just never had anytime. I called canbridge locks and they gave me a great price and was available when I had time.

Top of the line Locksmith. I called them last night at 1:30 to have them rechange my Front and Back door locks. It only took them 20 Mins to get to my house and another 25 to do the locks. It was great and quick service, Thanks
