Came here with my mom for lunch during the week. The rotating belt concept is fun and for the price it was awesome. They have 5 plates for $5 - We were stuffed for $15 total! The only drawback is that there aren't tons of options and since the sushi is on the belt, its not as cold as I would prefer it to be, but I would go back for a casual sushi lunch for sure!

I have never heard of anyone who likes sushi but doesn't like Sushilicious! My friends and I go there to eat several times a month, and sometimes I go there by myself when I'm having serious cravings. Of all the "conveyer-belt" sushi places I have been to, Sushilicious is by far the best.

They have a wonderful variety of sushi, from the traditional nigiri to their own special creations such as my favorite "Lil Miss Sunshine", which is a baked roll that even has lemon slices between the sushi pieces for distinct flavor. Many other special rolls are placed onto the conveyor belt, and they are all absolutely delicious. Not only does Sushilicious make a large variety of sushi, but they also offer desserts and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as a part of the conveyor belt, which definitely adds to the fun atmosphere of the restaurant. I also really appreciate how they put lids on all the sushi on the conveyor belt to keep the food sanitary.

And if you aren't a big fan of sushi and conveyor belts, you can always order their bento boxes, which have very generous portions. Their bento boxes are just as delicious as the sushi. I recommend sharing a bento box with your friend (Hint hint: GREAT DATE IDEA!!), and then grabbing whatever you like on the conveyor belt. Also, make sure you remember to try the dessert- it's marvelous!

And I have to mention the best part of all this, which is the price. You will not find a conveyor-belt sushi place that is as reasonably priced as Sushilicious. I am a UCI student, and I get a special discount where I pay only $2 per plate of sushi from the conveyor belt, regardless of the original pricing. That means that I can get whichever sushi I like without worrying about the price differences. For those of you who are not UCI-affiliated, you can still get this discount during specific lunch hours, as they offer it as a lunch special.

Also, I must acknowledge the wonderful staff at Sushilicious. They are always more than willing to accommodate your needs and are quick to serve you. The sushi chefs are all very amiable, and they will take orders from you, if you request a sushi that has not been replaced on the conveyor belt. In addition to their chefs, the manager of Sushilicious is exceptional. He juggles taking phone calls, writing names onto the waiting list, and still finds time to attend to customers by asking them if they need more tea or water or if they would like to order sushi from the chefs.

If you are intending to eat at Sushilicious, I recommend calling them before you leave to make a seating reservation, as the restaurant often has a long waiting list. Although some people may not like the wait, it is much better to have a busy restaurant when you are dealing with conveyor-belt sushi. This means that the sushi is always fresh, as people grab the sushi almost immediately, so the chefs are replacing the sushi constantly. I always have a great experience at Sushilicious, and look forward to eating there again.

Not a fan of seafood but this place is great. Not your traditional sushi place. Food comes past you on a conveyor and you pick what you want. The prices are reasonable and the service great.
