I have taken two classes with Jake over the past few years and it has been a great experience. Sometimes I can get very overwhelmed but Jake always finds a way to make moving forward with my script possible.

I have taken two classes with Jake over the past few years and it has been a great experience. Sometimes I can get very overwhelmed but Jake always finds a way to make moving forward with my script possible.
I personally am skeptical of these all-positive reviews which seem to be written by friends or novices who are just starting out and don't know that much about screenwriting. I would be more persuaded if these positive reviews were from respected educators or professionals in the screenwriting field. My impression from auditing his class and lectures at other writing institutions is he is basically teaching Blake Snyder's book, "Save The Cat", such as the "Promise of The Premise." Additionally, he really only has one credit on imdb for a TV movie he wrote @10 years ago and no other produced credits. Based on his qualifications, I would not pay the above-normal fee for his workshops when he doesn't seem to have that much expertise. There are people out there who know that, like acting, there is money to be made from people who want to write a movie. He doesn't seem to have any successful students, who have won a screenwriting contest or had their screenplay optioned, etc...

If you are a dedicated screenwriter, I would recommend Jacob Krueger's screenwriting class to all screenwriters.

Jacob Krueger is brilliant, his enthusiasm and razor-sharp vision cut clearly to the heart of the issues discussed.

Jake Krueger and his class is open and encouraging. His classes are helpful for people who are stuck or shy and he provides wonderful feedback for all, regardless of their level.

If you are serious about writing and feel you have the discipline to take this class, go for it, as Jake will get you to where you want to be.

After five screenplay workshop with Jacob Krueger my life as a writer has changed. His teaching skills are combination of free writing and savvy technical strategies. Jacob's screenplay workshop's has totally revamped my writing style hence my dialogue and characters are now authentic creations. Jacob a really great guy!

Learning with Jacob Krueger has been one of the most creative and gratifying experiences. He is a rare to find teachers. He is a true artist. He has tremendous generosity, imagination and skill he employs in guiding you to depths in your work. I had a great time at his screenwriting class.

Jacob is simply great. He helped me to overcome a long writers block. He also helped me find obstacles in my writing and to easily overcome them.

Jacob Krueger is very dedicated and collaborates on every project very seriously. He has a very sharp dramatic sense.
