I purchased my first car from Mcgrath a little over a month ago. I bought a Suzuki Verona 2004. I know it is a used car, but did they have to seel me the car with bad breaks. They told me my breaks were squeeking because it just got washed. BS!!!!! My breaks continued to make loud noises until I took it in to a shop. They told me that my breaks were badly worn down. OMG!!!! what if I had an accident? Also, I paid them an extra $500 to paint my car beacause of a few nicks in the bumper. After calling several times with no avail, I asked for my money back. Do you know that they told me my $500 was for b reak conditioning. Ha Ha ha. They are full of CRAP and they know it. I have been trying to get a refund for 3 weeks now and they keep giving me the run around. I need my money back. $500 dollars dont grow on trees and I damn sure cant afford to let them keep it. So in my opinion, McGrath is a THIEF! THIEF! THIEF!BUYERS BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r

I purchased my first car from Mcgrath a little over a month ago. I bought a Suzuki Verona 2004. I know it is a used car, but did they have to seel me the car with bad breaks. They told me my breaks were squeeking because it just got washed. BS!!!!! My breaks continued to make loud noises until I took it in to a shop. They told me that my breaks were badly worn down. He knows his stuff and doesnt give you the run around. Buying a new car does not have to be stressful. Do your homework, come prepared and Jose will take care of the rest. Absolutely no high pressure tactics, no junk add ons. Just sheer quality and commitment to customer service.

He made us feel like we were the only customers in the place and left no detail untouched. Jeremy was also very helpful on pricing, etc and very friendly and personable. I had to bring my car in to get the recalls fixed on it. I regularly bring my car for an oil change and repairs here and I was glad Bill Miller was here to help me with the recall fixes. He is usually here when I come for my oil changes and I feel very comfortable with him. He always offers me good service, concise information and a friendly smile. When I come to McGrath I feel comfortable because I am familiar with the staff and it makes me feel home. I wish I could plug my laptop in by one of the couches though. I like that I can get onto the internet while I'm there.

I received such excellent service from Bill and the service tech RJ that I will continue to come to McGrath in the future even though it is much farther from my home than other Honda dealers. Our salesman, Frank, was very personable and took us through our options with little pressure. When we decided to make the purchase he wrote everything up and then turned us over to their ""closer"" who gave us the usual pressure to purchase about 80 optional things (actually about 7, but it seemed like 80.) When we resisted there was minimal pressure. We then finished things up and were out of there in under 3 hours.

I have had a good experience with these guys (I dealt with Bill). I went in to have the airbags on my Honda replaced because they had been recalled by the company, and while I was at it decided to make some needed repairs: timing belt package, and some other stuff. They got the repairs done fast and even lent me one of their cars for free while they were working on my car! Wow, that was cool.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the people were friendly, and there was no pressure. We test drove the car were were interested in, as well as another model. We were allowed to test drive without the salesman in the car, which gave us the opportunity to discuss the car and our honest opinions. We have been looking for cars for a while, and NO other dealer has been that trusting. We made the decision to discuss a purchase with the salesman. Again, no pressure... just what we wanted in order to make the purchase. He gave us all the options, and explained incentives and financing. He came back with a price...which was more than acceptable to us, so we made the deal. None of this ""I have to ask my manager"" or endless negotiations. The customer areas are very clean and comfortable, and even have a gourmet coffee machine. We closed the deal with the finance manager, and again...no high pressure with all the dealer extras, just explanations and relaxed conversation. We drove home in our new car and are very happy!

I went in with my 2003 acura MDX. I heard it was cheaper to have the care serviced at Honda. My transmition was making a funny noise so I brought it into McGrath Honda which was near my house. As I pulled it into the service center a car porter asked if I wanted a free car wash after my service. Said sure, that's a nice touch.

About a half hour later the service manager and mechanic brought me over to the car. They showed me two hoses were loose and some wiring had come undone. He said he would fix them but that I should go to an Acura dealer for a new AC compressor. That's what was making the loud noise.

About 15 minutes later they came into waiting room and said my car was ready ""just go to the cashier to get your paper work"". To my amazement, the cashier said there was no charge for the service and thank you for coming in. I went out to the service bay and my car had been washed.

Unbelievable. I was expecting to pay a couple hundred bucks for the mechanic to fix the hoses etc. He was really honest and could have screwed me- but didn't.

Long story short- bringing the car into an Acura dealer. Hope I get the same kind of service.

Quick and simple/In and Out in no time. I wish all car service departments were created equally but they are not. Overall, my experience was livable. I have never been to a dealership in my entire life where the salespeople were so honest. When I inquired about a 97 Honda he actually said, and I quote, that one is kind of a lemon.
