They have the best nuts-absolutely delicious. For the holiday season they let you put them in a cute holiday container of your choice. It's too bad the hours aren't a little longer but the prices are great and they have a great variety of nuts with great flavor. They make a great gift or you can buy a bag for yourself to snack on!

Just an unpretentious and somewhat classic snack shop, with a theme of roasted nuts. Not the type of place you'll write home about, but still a welcome and old school business on a busy high rent corner. Since the late 1930's this place has packed 'em in. At one time SF had seven of these stores, now it's the obnly one on the west coast. The other shops are on the New Jersey shore. Just steps away from uber pricey Euro-style boutiques on Grant Ave, almost anyone can drop in and afford some roasted cashews, macadamias or almonds and get change back from your $5. The nuts are roasted in store to a rich golden brown in coconut oil, and come hot & salty, or sweet or even covered in chocolate for the decadent.
