This is a perfect place to watch a play. You feel like you are at a Broadway Play without all the craziness. You will not be disapointed

We went to the Kirkland Performing Center a couple of weeks ago to see the Children's Theater production of Pinoccio. We went because it was being interpreted in ASL but we weren't prepared for so many small children! The cast and director of the show did a wonderful job of involving the children in the audience and put on a very good show. The theater itself was comfortable and not a bad seat in the house. I'm anxious to see another one there, now.

My friends and us sometimes go to Kirkland Performing Center for concerts and dance shows. It is a great educational place for both children and adults.
3I am an educator and every year I take my class to one of Kirkland Performance Center's Storybook Theater shows. They are very entertaining for both children and adults!!! They always run smoothly, their sets are well constructed and fun to watch transform, the characters are top notch, and they are interactive!!! They usually do well known fairy tales with a twist making it fun to compare and contrast after the show. If you have a child, this is a must see!!

The Eastside of Seattle has really grown in
culture and the arts. The Kirkland Performing
Center is one example. They have added
better performances and shows over the
years that make them one of the best.
If you can see someone you like here, you'll be SOOO happy! This is a great theatre. Coming from LA, I wasn't sure what to expect. The Kirkland Center is small and intimate, but still professional and accomodating.
There are only 13 rows in this theatre, so there LITERALLY isn't a bad seat in the house.
** The easiest way to get here from Seattle is the bus. Even being from out of town, it was a simple one bus route, for $3...instead of a $40 cab ride. Call up the metro and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.
**PS. Check at the Pike market. there is a guy in a booth selling tickets to varrious attractions, you can get your same day tickets here 1/2 price. I found this out too late! :(
