This is the group of shops that many locals take their visitors to show them one of the areas that is unique to Eugene. The stores are clustered around a central courtyard that has outdoor seating around a central fountain. The inner group of stores reflect the many handmade arts and crafts that Eugene is known for. There is a selection of restaurants including a coffee shop. There is a flower shop on the street level.

While Eugene?s size and influence are diminutive compared to Portland?s city reach, this Oregon?s second largest city no less bustling. Being both a college town and the festival center of Oregon, Eugene is second to none when it comes to a city with true personality. The same personality permeates from the Fifth Street Public Market, where folks locally and from out of town shop, dine, and simply hang out. Much of the market?s shops are hobby-oriented, whether music, art & crafts or simply decorating. The food served by its little restaurants is generally superb and of very high quality.
