AMC Hiram 14

I just wanted to say that our family and friends from out of town, enjoy this theater and its staff very much. We live in between Barto.w/Cobb counties; so therefore, we have plenty of theaters to visit. We choose not to because of our happy and exciting time we endure every time we walk through those doors. Teenagers are everywhere and that's not gonna change; furthermore, we've never had any complaints towards the dating and hanging out rituals that we all once practiced. I grew up simple but not on a farm, and yet I can't help but feel a little offended when everyone keeps bashing these "rednecks". I would like to know if any of you have any other problems with age, race, religion or handicap. This is really sad! It's a very clean and upscale facilty that generously offers a fun and memorable experience in all that they do! I SAY ~ WAY TO GO MOVIES 278! :)

This is a nice community theater. They are priced better than most, which helps when you are trying to find entertainment for a family.

I love having a nice theater in the area. My family and I go there frequently and always have a good time. The prices are more reasonable than other surrounding theaters. Concessions are costly but I generally like the selection of movies.

We love how closed this theater is to our house without having to go all the way to the mall. They used to be the most reasonable theater around however they have increased their prices adn seem to cost as much as the other theaters.

I recently went to a 3-D movie and was surprised that I was charged extra for the glasses and then I was asked to return them after I purchased them.

As to the comment by John B. some of us so called "rednecks" actually like getting business and since Movies 278 is so close to Hiram, a large city that is apparently full of your trashy, misguided definition of "redneck", it makes since for people to advertise there.
P.S.- just know that the people of Paulding County, THE fastest growing county in the USA, do not appreciate you calling them rednecks, especially since they have the newest airport in the state and Wellstar is about to start construction on the most technologically advanced hospital in the WORLD.

We are a family of 7 and I think it's a great place to catch a movie for an inexpensive price. We live near another major movie theatre and the price is outrageous. We've found that the major theatre attracts more kids than Movies 278. We love it! The commercials are cheesy but we are not there for the commercials. A great movie theatre for families.

I got a $4.00 experience and paid $9.75 for it. Theater is a drop-off point for teens. Very dirty and dated. Some of the most redneck commercials in town. Go elsewhere!!!

It really is not that noisy. I go there often to watch movies. It all depends on what movie you see and if school is in session or not. I love this place and would recommed it to anyone. Very comfortable.

The Movies 278 is fine if you go to a matinee, but I have had absolutely horrible experiences when I go in the evening. People leave there cell phones on throughout the movies, and are talking on them. Teenagers talk and cut up!! You can't hear or watch the movie because of all the talking. It has been a waste of money to go in the evening, I've talked to the security people and others have also about all of the talking and commotion going on during the movie, and nothing is ever done about it!! I would recommend going to the mall for an evening show, but 278 is fine for matinees usually.

I live in West Cobb and love how close this theater is without having to drive to the mall. I also love that my favorite pizza place is across the street...Mellow Mushroom Pizza! If you show your ticket stub from the movie you get 10% off!!

Newly opened, this theater is well lit, clean, and staffed with security. Prices are reasonable and the matinee special is $5 a ticket if your movie is before 6pm. Currently, the only drawback is that they do not take credit/debit yet. However, there is an ATM machine available.

PROS: matinee special, ATM available, clean, security
CONS: do not accept credit or debit cards - cash only
