Jerry's Famous Deli

Perhaps it's just this location, but the reputation did not live up to the Jerry's Deli name. The service was awful, the restaurant was dirty and run down and on top of that the food was disgusting and way over priced! I had a $14 turkey

Let me start by saying that this place is 24 hours, and serves everything on the menu all day. They also have take out and their desserts are really good. It's a nice restaurant with a fully stocked bar just in case you want to have a drink at the end of the night. Good food at a reasonable price, they serve just about everything from pizza and pasta to salads and steak.

1 year ago, we were seated and waited for 35 minutes at our table- no waiter, no bus boy; we were completely ignored. We brought this to the manager's attention in which he said

This is one of my favorite lunch spots as it is very close to my work. At lunch time, if it is past 11:30, it is a bit hard to find seating, especially if your group is large. But it is well worth the wait. My favorite is pastrami omlette and pastrami sandwhich on rye bread. The deli is a little bit pricey but that also is worth the extra $$. If you live on the west side, this is a must visit type deli.

Place is ok but nothing great, the food is ok and they make up for it by giving larger portions. Its good if you are in a bit of a hurry but don't want fast food. Service is great and the waitress was very attentive to our needs.

If you're looking for a classic deli with great food and plenty of it, then Jerry's Deli Is it. Located in beautiful, Marina del Rey, Jerry's deli is everything you would expect from a high class deli and more. The atmosphere is very laid back. No suits and ties necessary. They are open 24 hours a day which is great for a late night run and ideal for club hoppers. In addition to massive selection of foods, the servers are helpful and friendly. My favorite is the mile high corned beef sandwich, which I challenge anyone to finish it. The food is affordable for any budget. From pizza to burgers and Schnitzel, there are plenty of choices for everyone's taste.

Jerry's Deli is always eye-catching for newbies- a bright red exterior, valet parking, and full-panel glass windows sets the restaurant apart from its Westwood neighbors. The interior, filled with Broadway posters, is no less visually appealing. This is a large location (2 floors) and is special to Westwood students and faculty as it is open 24 hours a day. I remember many 4 AM cramming sessions over lattes and blintzes. The menu is huge, offering its famous sandwiches, bagels, pizzas, and egg dishes. The sandwiches are very large but simple, appealing mostly to carnivores who don't care about other toppings or bread quality. The desserts are fairly bland and boring. I have been disappointed that for some reason or another (hour of the day, lack of a chef) they have never been able to prepare their breakfast pizza for me. Service varies by the day; lots of student-waiters. Try a scramble with eggs or a happy shake!

Jerry's Famous Deli has been around forever, a known staple of Westwood Village and UCLA students. This Deli draws people of all ages and has just about everything on the menu from Jello to Steak. Recently, this restaurant was remodled. The look haschanged from the classic stodgy diner to a hip, somewhat futuristic diner, or at least it feels more sleek, modern and eye-catching than before. The service always leaves a little something to be desired at the Westwood location, but for a Brisket sandwich, the matzo ball soup, and the pastrami on rye all make it worth it. It is also nice to find a multi-generational place where everyone from 2 year olds, to college students and starving actors in their 30's to senior citizens can all convene in onehappy happening location.

i finally got a chance to try Jerry's Deli out, but from now on, i'm gonna call it "Jerry's Overpriced Deli." the food and service is good, not great, but there's gotta be something wrong for pricing a decent tasting sandwich for $11 to

I have been going to Jerry's for a long time. I was just today to have breakfast. The service was so bad, we finally walked out. I have never walked out of a restaurant before and I am sad to say that I had to walk out of Jerry's. I

It is astounding that this deli chain is so popular. This location in particular has absolutely no ambiance, the service is lackluster at best, and the food is off. The pancakes are gooey and the bacon was charred. You'll be better served
