Brighton Gardens of Carlsbad

I wish we had found this facility for my father before trying two others. The staff treated him as if he were their own family. They treated us the same for that matter. Warm, caring, attentive and knowledgeable. And we all enjoyed the great food and special entertainment guests.\n\nFamily, home-like atmosphere with professional staff. What more could we have asked for? Thank you.

My mother was at Emeritus in Carlsbad. It looks really nice and the people seem nice. One night she called me and said that no one was answering her call button. She was having chest pains and needed attention. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. The police were called and the skilled nursing side reufused to send someone over to check on her since they were different opeations. I met the police and the fire department there and the door was locked and no one would answer the door. We almost had to break the door down. The fire department told me this was the worst nursing home in the area. BEWARE I moved my mom out asap.
