I did a lot of research before leaving for my desert weekend trip and found Miramonte to be so resonably priced and a good resort with a great spa. I would stay at Miramonte again. Their Well Spa was great. I had 2 massages and a facial last weekend and the treatments were great and facilities top notch. I loved the Spa's 2 salt water pools. Before visiting the spa, I relaxed poolside and loved the service by the pool. Never had to wait long for a drink or food. The food was tasty and fresh and well priced for a hotel. I stayed in a small suite and loved the large terrace over looking the resort grounds. The room was tastefully furnished and spacious. I would stay at Miramonte again and recommend it to others. It's also a good deal for the price.

Pros: Great resort for the money in the desert

Cons: no refrigerators in the rooms or mini-bars

We found this place through travelocity and expected it to be mediocre like the rest of the places we found through there but this place is beautiful. The rooms are comfrtable and spacious. THey have spa on premises and the grounds are beautiful with fountains and florals. The staff is friendly and helpful and even answered questions by phone after we checked out. They pointed us in the right direction for dinner off premises even though they have a quality restaurant on the grounds. We would definitely return!

Miramonte Resort was just the getaway my fiance and I needed last weekend. It is a beautiful, Tuscan-style resort in Indian Wells, CA. The resort offers two main pools as well as two smaller ones in the spa area, lovely grounds that are well-maintained, a restaurant (that we didn't try out), and a wonderful spa. We both had massages, which came at a discount since we booked a package deal, and facials. The resort and spa has various traditions, including having spa guests pick a stone with a word or phrase on it from a bag before each spa treatment (mine said "let go" and "passion") to encourage the guest to focus on something positive rather than the daily grind during their relaxing treatment. The treatments were incredibly relaxing. My only gripe was the amount of water wasted at the resort. Given that they are located in a desert, I expected low-flow shower heads and watering the lawns at night. However, the showers are ones where you cannot control the water pressure and it was very high pressure, and the lawns were being watered in the middle of the afternoon in July in 120-degree heat. I wrote to them and complained about that.
