Trader Joe's

There are only two Trader Joes outlets in Sacramento, and why that is, I'll never understand. This is a great store like all TJ's with an eclectic selection of interesting foods plus all the basics at decent prices. The same great floral department, cheese selection, and wine aisle you expect if you're familiar with Trader Joes, but why do they make you drive so far? There's plenty of shopping centers going up all over the area, scout a new location or two, Joe!

This is a great store, a fun place to shop. They are kid friendly and nice to old f**ts like me. I love the wine prices and the wine is good besides. My kids adore the pizzas.

My daughter loves to head for the sample table. She loves picking out cereal there too. All the cereal is healthy to some degree - that is makes it special.

Great choices of coffees, nuts, avocadoes, frozen prepared food and natural sodas and waters.

PROS: Everyone should visit a Trader Joes at least once
CONS: They discontinue items without notice

Fun place to browse. Foods for vegeterians as well as non-vegans. Pastries to wine to beer to frozen foods, coffees and teas. Always plenty of people shopping there. Several checkout lines.
