Always a fun time here with friends. A small place but full of lively entertainment. They have great beers on tap and some screens to watch the game on. Parking in this area was not too bad unlike other areas of Wilshire Blvd.
4This place is ok, the Bartenders are what makes this place great. Crowd seems to be very friendly as wel. Food is not bad either. Their burgers are awesome! With all that being said, Id definately come here again!\r

Pros: Friendly bartenders
Cons: Pricey beers
Nice place to go and have a burger and a beer! It's casual, laid back and the staff are friendly. They have comfort food that hits the spot.
3Do not go here for Monday Night Football, this bar is giving priority to their "Trivia Night" and the hostess will try and remove you from your table (regardless of how much you are spending on drinks) so that a trivia geek can take over.

Pros: Many Screens
Cons: Pricey, Happy Hour is not good and only available to bar
If you are looking for an Irish pub with some decent food, try O'Briens Irish Pub. Small but friendly, good food (though some dishes do have a lot of salt) made the authentic Irish way! Sheppard's Pie, and lots of other great dishes and drinks!
4Great place to go and get drinks. THe bathrooms are not nice or clean. Irish pub with good bar food does get noisy on the weekends and street parking only which is metered all the time so hope you have enough quarters.
3A little on the smaller side, this place is quaint and fun. They have a decent sized outdoor patio and a room in the back where they generally have live bands playing. We went a few weeks ago and the band was REALLY good. Drinks are priced average for a Westside bar and the food is alright. Try and snag a booth if possible as seating is limited in this joint!

Cheap ingredients used in their foods, beer and food is over priced, they don't serve pitchers, music is lame, etc... This place is not a whole in the wall by any means, so you would expect the owner to at least invest some more money

Did you ever consider that your girlfriend really can't sing, and that the people in the bar were trying to be polite and make her feel good? Did you really ask the DJ about the contest, and then insist on getting paid the money because

Pros: Good beer selection, decent pub food.
Cons: People who try and turn the pub into an American Idol audition.
my girlfriend and I went to this place for a karaoke contest that they advertised for wednesday night for $100. we got there and the place was pretty small not many people there kind of a hole in the wall place. It seemed like a kick back

When nothing more exciting is an option during the weekend O'briens is always a decent option. Single guys beware - Main St is a sausage fest. Bring your own girl(s).

Pros: Live music, no line, no cover
Cons: No girls
Great hang out place, large variety of food, liquor, and beer. Very social atmosphere. And most of all, friendly bartenders, the guys there treat you like friends. It get's a bit packed on Friday/Saturday nights, but always with good

Pros: Very friendly, huge variety, great service.
Cons: Only CON that I can think of is Parking. But even that's not too bad.
O'Brien's has been around for more than a decade, and the "regulars" have been hanging out there for years. It has a great mix of people, and all are welcoming to newcomers. The menu is very diverse. You can choose from the typical "bar

I love this place, the food is great! They have good lunch specials too! Parking is a bit of a pain; make sure to park on Wilshire or behind the building. And sometimes they're a little slow at lunch, but not slow enough to stop me from

I love the great tasting burger smothered with cheese, mushrooms, onions and Irish bacon. Partnered with a cider and I'm set for the evening. St. Patricks day is the best-- a madhouse.

I love coming here because it almost feels like I'm back in New York. Dark bar, friendly faces, Guiness and Bass on tap. What more do you need?

Every Monday night O'Briens holds a trivia contest that should not be missed! The crowd ranges from UCLA sorority girls to middle-aged brainiacs. The entire bar gets into the competition and a good time is garaunteed. The best part is you

They really do know your name at O'Briens! The owner Willy and his staff welcome patrons with open arms, good beer and great food.
Go on Monday night promptly at 9pm for a relaxed but fun crowd and a classic game of trivia--but watch out

I've been going to O'Brien's on Wilshire for YEARS. The friendly bartenders (love/ed Tommy, Brian, Gilbert and Darren), the perfectly poured half n'halfs, lively music and endearing regulars all make this Pub the best in LA. The crowd

Cool bar if you like Boston sports. I do not recommend the food or the Very limited parking.
3If you are tired of places like Father's Office where you can't order it the way you like it, try the burgers at O"Brien's. The BaconCheeseBurger is GREAT!! Being an Irish Pub they've got a good selection of standard Irish dishes, all are
