I have read nehative reviews about this place and still I decided to try it out. The food was actually pretty good and the service was excellent. I ordered the tuna melt sandwich with onion rings and it has to be one of the best tuna melts

Today we made a stop on our road trip at the Apricot Tree. I just want to say that this has got to be one of the best breakfast places we've been to in a while. My friends ordered Apricot Pancakes and he said they were delicious. They

We stopped six months ago on our way to San Diego at The Apricot Tree Restaurant. We loved the food and the lunch boxes were pretty neat around the restaurant. We stopped again this past Sunday and we had the same experience as we did last

I don't understand why a lot of people bash on this place. The food is delicious. I ordered a Hungry Farmers burger and I thought it to be pretty good. The prices weren't bad at all and the service was awesome. The place is clean and I

The Apricot Tree has been a fixture on I-5 for as long as I can remember. The food is your basic road stop cuisine, butthere are definitely better places to stop farther up the road. Nothing special here.

Well known restaurant off the I-5. Food is OK but the service was terrible. It took us 10 minutes to be seated even though there was no one else in line and plenty of empty table. Our server messed up our order. They seemed to be short staffed because there was only one waiter for an entire side of the restaurant. Cool retro lunchboxes line the ceiling.

While most food is a decent but ordinary diner food, this place has the best handmade apricot pies. I live in Los Angeles, and every time my wife and I go to Bay Area we make a point to stop by to pick up a pie. The pies are that good.
Lunchboxes in the dinning room provide a great atmosphere.

We were on the road in our RV, it was getting late, we were hot, tired, and the dogs were restless. We pulled in to the Apricot Tree, saw they were "RV friendly" so we parked far out in their lot, fed and walked the dogs, and trudged in for something to eat.

First thing to hit you is the nostalgia theme of lunchboxes and thermoses - in display cases, on shelves along the walls, everywhere. OK, kitsch.

Next thing to hit was the menu - very wide ranging with lots of road food and diner-type classics. I'm a sucker for a patty melt. It was tasty, the fries were perfect. The service was friendly enough but I would not call it attentive.

We spent the night in our RV in the parking lot (per the RV's welcome sign), went back for a big ol' omelet in the morning, and headed on our way. Would definitely stop in again.

Food is definitely not their forte. However, for some strange reasons, my 11 years old daughter loves the place and everytime that we're heading up and down the I5, we have to stop for lunch or dinner. The place has a nostalgic atmosphere which uses quirky vintage metal lunch boxes as their decor...the kinds that we used to carry when we were kids. There is also a small and eclectic general store where you can buy overpriced shiny pebbles or that cowboy hat that you've been wanting. Although I rate this place a 2-stars for food, I would rate this a 5-stars for my daughter's enjoyment.

Now we know why the parking lot was empty when we got there.they served us the worst breakfast we have ever had. The scambeld eggs were like rubber and the hash browns under cooked. The server came by three times and only asked if we wanted more coffee. The coffee was also awfull. THe best part of our meal was the toast. It seems like they know we are only going to eat there once so they don't care how bad the food is.Your best option is to eat at the Mcdonalds next door and also save yourself alot of money.
