Can be pricey but you can get some good deals with their coupons and clearance prices. I've gotten stuff on clearance for $4.

Always find more than what I'm looking for and then some. Definitely an addition to the community and good on the pocketbook.

Its an average department store, but nothing you wouldnt find at other places. Pretty nice at its new location and its alright. You could find a better place.

Well with the new one in Poway i couldnt help but take a look at it. They had many clothes and things to choose from at affordable and low prices. This would be a good place to go for clothing.

ok. this place shares it's wannabe-ness with target, except in a less cool way. sure, this store is big, sure the store has cheap prices, but come on. kohl's is always crowded beyond belief and lines are ridiculous. go to target, it's better there anyway.

When a new store opens, you hope it has some new twist to it such as extremely low prices or unique items which Kohl's fails miserably at doing. The items are very similar to those at Mervyns which means low quality, ugly, and you can't never find anything on sale. It's just run-of-the-mill.

As department stores go, Kohl's falls somewhere in the middle. Sure it has fancy clothes and jewelry, but when it comes down to value, it just doesnt get past a 3 star rating. You may find a few specials here and there but most of their inventory can be found at a Mervyn's or JCPenny for at least 20% on any given day. If you're running out of options, you may consider Kohl's department stores, but i wouldn't recommend them as a first choice and the one in East Lake is no exception.
