My friend wanted sangria so we went to her favorite spot - Radio Habana Social Club. I trust her that they serve the best sangria in town. This place is authentically, eclectically Cuban - dolls with anteater heads, rubber chickens, and a crutch with a plastic foot hanging from the ceiling. It's a tiny place that has its own group of regulars who do their best to keep this spot secret. How selfish!?!
The tapas and entrees are well-seasoned and perfectly prepared. Try the samosas, chicken tamales and chilean empanadas. The service is off-the-hook cool and warming. The owner dows the cooking and the bartending and is funny! The server is a whirlwind of energy and sarcasm! Have fun!
