This place has gone way down hill! I went to Pastis with a friend and we both agreed the waitstaff are more into themselves and seem ruder than the average Parisian waiter when being served in France. How bout some American waiters, heh?

This is a trendy restaurant where the decor is minimal and modern, but not super cozy. The food was delicious, but definitely overpriced. The atmosphere was a little cold for my taste and I was expecting the restaurant to be hopping but there were only a handful of people there when I went. I probably would not eat there again due to the price, but again, the food was great.

uh! this is one restaurant I won't be going back to. The service was horrible and the food mediocre. If I'm not mistaken, i could swear the waiter brushed his hands through his hair everytime I looked over. Pretentious actor wannabes.

It?s always a bad idea to try a new restaurant when there?s a special holiday or event going on ? because 9 out of 10 times, the food (usually prix fixe) and service will be worse than normal. Knowing this, I tried Pastis on Valentine?s
