It's pretty expensive - something like $9 or $11 an hour. The employees were pretty nice. There are also no clocks, so you have no idea how much time you've spent.
It's nice, though, because it definitely is a pool hall. There's so many tables there. It seems like a neighborhood joint as well, not jam-packed with hipsters either. Good music too. I'll maybe go again, but I'd have to go one of the discount nights, where it's half off.

I really like the atmosphere at this Billiards hall in Emeryville which is a few blocks from the new shopping area Bay St. The service here is also a plus and the the girls are pretty cute too. You have to be 21 and up to get in though. They have good music playing and its always a good vibe.

Broken rack is a tiny bit classier than the other pool halls around the bay area. They serve some food, drinks, and have waitresses uniformed. It's 21+ pool hall by the way. They plenty of regulation tables and a couple of snooker tables in the back. One special VIP room in the corner and a smoking lounge room. Its located in a business and shopping complex in Emeryville. Service is pretty good and well worth the experience. One of my favorite pool halls here in the east bay. They also hold tournaments here and shooters all around the bay come here to battle.
