My daughter took numerous classes at the junior theatre and we were always pleased. The teachers were great and the classes were small. The productions were always great!

The San Diego Junior Theatre is a great place for children to shine! They offer various camps, classes, and other programs that encourage children to get involved in the theatre. Not only can kids get involved but parents, children, and regular everyday people can get a chance to see some wonderful productions put on by kids, at an affordable price. The ticket prices are much lower than those of the main theatres, and you still get a chance to see hot performances, and who knows, maybe some day that little red haired girl you saw play Annie at the San Diego Junior Theatre will be starring in movies or on Broadway. One of the hidden secrets about the San Diego Junior Theatre is that they have a costume sale every year, where they sell various costumes that are no longer needed for productions. The sale, usually takes place early during the month of October, and all of the proceeds benefit the San Diego Junior Theatre. The costume sales are a wonderful place to pick up an expensive costume for a special child in your life at a great price.

Junior Theatre is one of the most superior theatres in the the State for the youth movement. JT supports a number of budding stars among the youth and every show that they put on is awesome and breathtaking. Seeing a show and supporting the kids at JT is an overall wonderful experience.

We've seen 2 shows here and both were excellent. My daughter also took 2 classes here and had a wonderful time. They did a small production at the end for the parents, and although kids can't be in the regular productions until age 8, she got a taste of what being in theater was like.
