I am so glad that I use Midas. They are friendly and quick. The prices are very fair, and I never have a problem after.

I have to stick up for this shop. I have used them several times for my repair work and always had a good experience. Nobody likes to spend money on auto-repair, but at least the pain is minimized at this location.

Let me paint a picture of myself for you: I am a 19-year-old female. I am the mechanic's dream client. They think I know absolutely nothing about price & procedures so I'm used to auto service "experts" trying to take advantage of me. However, it was at this Midas where I found the worst of 'em. My 'Check Engine' light went on so I took it in to ask them to find out what was wrong. Now, if you were unaware of this, all mechanics have a tool that plugs into your car and gives the code that turned on your 'Check Engine' light. They don't need to do a comprehensive engine check, like the mechanic at Midas suggested (for 150$) Many places will do this for free, so the mechanic here already tried to milk over a hundred bucks out of me. SECONDLY, after they checked my engine, this joker told me that I needed a new timing belt (which is always done with the water pump, amounting to >$800, according to the guy at Midas.) He also said that there was an issue with the mass sensor, antifreeze and spark plugs. All in all, this guy wanted 1200$ out of me after keeping my car for 3 days JUST to check why the check engine light went on. I obviously said no thanks and went somewhere else (Sears.) I told them what the mechanic said he found, which they double checked. Well, to NO surprise, the only issue they spotted was with the spark plugs, which they fixed for under 150$

The check engine light is off and I spent 1000$ less than the slime at Midas wanted me to.

Don't go to Midas, especially not this one.

Pros: none.

Cons: everything.

I've been taking my car here for oil changes for a couple of years, but this time the oil change light came on after service. I checked the gas cap and rebooted the car's computer, but the check engine light came back on.

I took it into the dealership, where they charged me $150 to diagnose and fix the problem - a hose that had been unattached during the oil change. I immediately went back to Midas to ask for a refund of my oil change and a reimbursement of the repair charge. The guy at the shop couldn't help me and gave me a number to call.

I am not looking forward to getting the run around from them.

I have had a terrible experience with this business. We took our car in because the check engine light came on. They said that the catalytic converter was out and we needed a new one. We did as they said and forked out $1000.00 for the new catalytic converter. Now less than 3 months later the check engine light comes on again - we take it back - and guess what? the catalytic converter is bad. Now we are thinking - sure glad I went with the shop that has a lifetime warranty on its work! But wait, apparently lifetime warranties aren't what they used to be. They are saying that there is something wrong with our engine that is making the catalytic converter go bad, and so they aren't responsible for replacing the catalytic converter. Now shouldn't they have checked why the catalytic converter went out in the first place and have fixed this problem before putting in a $1000.00 part? They told us when we originally replaced it that these things just wear out over time, not that something was making it go bad. The regional manager is also being really rough with us and trying to bully us when we are complaining about this. We have another appointment on Wednesday - I will broadcast to the world what happens - until then don't go there! You have been warned!

I had to wait one hour for a $40 oil change that only took them fifteen minutes. The mechanic drove my car very recklessly. As part of their oil change, they check the engine, all fluid levels, and give a detailed inspection list, and I found these useful. Their repair prices, however, are outrageous.

They damaged my steering column. Replaced it with an old broken from the dump part.

I am still waiting to received the reimbursement for the car rental
that I need while they repaired the column.

Rob the manager said I would be reimbursed but I have not received it after 5 calls and 6 months have gone by.

He promised that he would make good on the damamged that was created by their mechanics and he has lied.
